Not many of them are standing up protecting their character the way you're doing now. You're actually thinking what would be best for the character and show that you personally love so badly. Something I have major respect to you for *hugs* Ok, so. Cas [i]is[/i] a secondary character. You can't say he isn't, cause well, he's not been in every single episode since he joined the show in season 4. Sam & Dean are the only [i]real[/i] main characters. Characters like Cas and Bobby are secondary characters. It doesn't matter how much you (and/or other fans) love either Cas or Bobby. Their fanbase won't change the fact that they are secondary characters. They will never be the only characters focused on on the show. Never. That's something we all just have to deal with. No matter what happens.. @Mysticblue20 really? REALLY? Oh, ok. So you're telling toti, joose & castiel4ever that they aren't true fans? Sorry, but that must be the stupidest thing I've ever heard. If you really love this show, you must also be able to let some things of it go. I have several examples of TV shows who has taken much of the good things too far, and then resulted in ruining the show in a way. I'm not saying this is what [i]will[/i] happen if Cas comes back to season 6, but it might. I guess we all just have to be prepared for the best or the worst. No matter what happens. Oh, and yea. I also saw someone saying something about if Cas isn't here next season, it won't be the same. This comes naturally. To me it was obviously not the same without Ruby and Bela from season 3 on it anymore, but I just had to deal with it. Why should it be any different with Castiel? It's not like he's worth more than they ever were, right? And please respect each other opinions. This fight is getting quite stupid.

Mysticblue20 First off, you can’t compare Castiel with stupid characters like Bela, and Ruby. To me they ruined the show. And, yes, I can call “joose32” and “Castiel4ever” and “toti8” untrue fans, because they are. Why would “fans” want their favorite character to die? To me a favorite character deserves more respect than that. He’s a fan favorite, and he deserves to return in season 6!

Castiel4ever Mysticblue20, face it. If Castiel remains I’ll be happy, heck I’ll probably write letters to the writers and thank them for putting him in. If he’s not, I’ll be devastated, but I will still watch. It’ll take a lot to get over his character, but I’ll do my best. Again, part of loving his character, is learning how to say goodbye, if it comes down to it! Please, stop trying to start fights with these girls. We're all part of the Supernatural family in someway or another. Let's just keep the peace... Plus, I agree with everything Blueeyes99, and joose32, and toti8, and pizzapi say.

Blueeyes99 Again, have to agree with all the girls here who have solid points of view (joose32, toti8, Castiel4ever, pizzapi, ambra, Kristine95). Mysticble20, we all are part of the Supernatural family, which would make you the argumentative younger/older sister, lol. What ever the writers have in store for our boys and our angel next season, I’ll support. They haven’t let me down yet. And they really never could to be honest. In all reality. The creators, writers, everyone involved in the show. Know how everyone feels for Cas. They’ll do the smart thing with his character. Even if he does die at the end of this season, no one stays dead long in the Supernatural world. There are four beloved characters on this show: Dean, Sam, Castiel, Bobby. Any one of them could die, they’ve killed the main stars before, and they always come back. So, stop making a mountain out of a molehill, it’s not necessary!

Mysticblue20 @Blueeyes99, how can anyone support a show that kills off a fan favorite? I am appalled at how flighty a lot of you sound. This character has become a phenomenon, and a lot of you for get that. I wish some of you could be in my shoes for a day, then you’d see my POV.

Breezy1234 Totally agree with everything Kristine95 has said. @Mysticblue20, I for one will always remember Jo and Ellen, they died very heroic, and that was memorable. Every time I watch that particular episode, I cry like it was my mom and sister that just died. But back to the Castiel topic. Castiel has made such an impact on the show that a lot of people can’t picture the show without him, true. But if he dies a hero at the end of this season, we’ll all respect him and the writers a lot more. Sure it would be awesome to have him in the show next season, more than awesome, but sometimes a good thing has to come to an end. In my opinion Cas is the best thing to happen to the show, just like Pamela, Ash, Jo, Ellen, but they all died. And the fans accepted it, because it was part of life. And these characters were real for us, and we all knew sometime it had to end. Look at Gabriel. He was a fan favorite as well, and he died in “Hammer of the Gods”, I don’t see anyone making a ruckus about it though. I’ve read comments saying they’ll miss him like hell, but they got over it. I see your point though in some areas, not the bashing areas, but the areas where you say he’s a fan favorite, it’s true he’s the MOST POPULAR fan favorite since the show started. sheepprncss3 If there is one thing that never fails to create a lot of drama on a television show, it is a love triangle. Lets face it that's a huge part of why Cas is on the show. He creates tension between the brothers, often one siding with him against his brother. The show is still very much about Sam and Dean and their familial relationship and no angel is going to change that (no matter how awesome he is). But, Cas brings a lot to the show all on his own. In a way he has taken the place of John, their father also had a similar effect on the boys relationship. Dean sides with Cas and Sam is left to fend for his own beliefs...the next episode Sam agreed with Cas and they are pitted against Dean. Cas is the middleman. I am not saying the show needs him to be successful, but he is am important role on Supernatural that keeps viewers intreagued. I am a huge fan of Castiel. He bring both drama and humor to the show. I am very partial to the comic aspect of his role. "I'ts not funny, Dean. The voice says I am almost out of minutes."

DarthShea Actually Castiel is not techincally a angel anymore, because if you remember second to last show when Dean and Sam went after Pestilince, I'm sorry if i spelled it wrong, Castiel calls Dean and tells him that he lost his angelic powers and he was human, so I'm guessing that the season finale will in a cliff hanger and we have to wait for season 6 to see what happens, I don't think Sam can control Lucifer what ya'll think?
