I layed on the deck for about ten minutos until I couldn't take it anymore, I had to see the beach. I got down sa pamamagitan ng myself from the ladder. I went and put on a t-shirt and shorts and called Oakley to see if he would answer his phone. He did. I was lucky. 
uy Oak. Can you come pick me up and take me to the beach? I ask him. 
Yeah sure. I'll be there soon. He said. 
Cool thanks. Bye. I said. 
I went and told mom and dad that Oakley was taking me to the beach. Dad told me not to get my cast wet and not to get any sand down in it. I sinabi I wouldn't and I figured that would be hard to do but I didn't really care. I grabbed my cruches and headed outside to wait for Oakley. He arrived as soon as I got to the end of the driveway. 
Hey, thanks for coming. I told Oakley. 
No problem sista. Oak sinabi while laughing. 
I turned around and look in the back upuan and Garrett was sitting in the back with a surfboard that was broken in two pieces with the leash missing. 
uy Garrett. Oak, is that my surfboard? I ask. 
Yeah, I thought you would want it. Oak sinabi to me. 
I turned around and leaned into the back of the huffed. I pulled my hair into a ponytail and put on my sunglasses before we left the driveway. We blasted music all the way to the beach. Since I couldn't walk far we went to the tabing-dagat that had the lifeguards so I could maybe catch a ride on their four-wheeler. Like I sinabi we got there and I knew a couple if the guys that worked there. It just so happen as we pulled up I saw Nick, my crush. He was walking into the main lifeguard tower. I knew a bunch of the people because i surfed daily and usually had a scrape or two that needed fixing up. Hey, Mr. Don. I sinabi as I hobbled my way into the main tower. 
Hey, Samantha. Ouch, what happen? He ask. 
I was surfing and wasn't paying attention to the swell and it grew an I took a nasty nose dive and log story short my knee hut some rocks when some swells pushed me into them cause it to crack or something. I told him. 
How log you gonna be out? Mr. Don ask.
I don't really know, but I'm dying to get it off already. I said. 
How long have you had it on? He ask. 
Well if you count the days I was unconious and the days I've had it on awake and all just a little bit over 5 days. I told him. 
Your already complaining about?! He said. 
Mr. Don you know surfing and the tabing-dagat is my whole life. I said. 
I know when I was your age I was the same way. He told me. 
Really, I think I'm the only girl that likes to surf instead of lying out all day. I sinabi laughing. 
I don't know you might have some comp out there. Mr. Don sinabi pointing his head towards the ocean. 
There's another girl out there? I ask. 
Yeah, but she isn't as good as you are. He said. 
Thanks, Mr. Don that means a lot to me coming from you. I said. 
Want to go take a look? He ask. 
Do you really have to ask? I sinabi smiling. 
We got on the four-wheeler and took off toward the girl surfing. Icouldnt believe it she was really good. 
Is she new here? I ask. 
I don't, know never seen her before. He said.  
She could be a tourist? I said. 
Probably, that news would have be around town already if she was moving here. Mr. Don said. 
Yeah, your right. I said.
We sat there for a little bit longer and till she came out of the water. She walked past Mr. Don and me.
Nice surfing. I told her as she walked sa pamamagitan ng me. 
Thanks. She sinabi and kept walking on. 
Hmm, not to friendly. Defiently a tourist. Mr. Don said. 
Yep. I agree. I told him. 
Oakley and Garrett walked sa pamamagitan ng us and told me that he was going surfing for a little bit but I was free to stay or whatever. I thought to myself yeah, no problem I'll stay since you drove me here and all. Mr. Don and I went back to the main lifeguard tower and Nick was in there eating lunch along with a few other guys. 
uy Sam. Nick said. What happened? 
Surfing, broke or cracked my knee. I sinabi giving the shorter version. 
Oakley sinabi it was a longer story than that. Nick said. 
Yeah, I didn't wait to bore you with the details though. I said. 
Tell me the whole story. He said. 
You sure? I ask. 
Yeah, I wantto hear it. He said. 
Okay, hmm where should I start. I sinabi and continued. This is what started it all but it was really my fault I wasn't layig attention. I had a wipeout and then paddled back out to the lineup were Oakley and his mga kaibigan were. One of his mga kaibigan sinabi dude that was a nasty fall. I was like yeah. I got mad because he called me a dude, I know it's stupid but- 
Not it's not. Nick sinabi interupting me. 
Thanks. I told him the whole story even the hospital part. It was long. 
Wow, man your lucky Oak was watching. Nick said. 
Yeah, I would be gone. I said. 
Hey, sorry but I got to get back to work, but how about we hang out son ? Nick ask. 
Yeah, that would be great. I said. 
Okay I'll call ya.  He sinabi walking out. 
I was smilig so big. I really like him. I wondered if Oakley had anything to do with it. Nah,hopefully not. 
You like him? Mr. Don ask. 
That noticeable? I sinabi while blushing. 
No, but when he left it was. He said. 
Oh; okay. I said. I'm going to go watch Oakley surf. 
Okay, try not to distract Nick to much though. Mr. Don said. 
Yes sir. I sinabi grabbing my cruches. 
I knew the guy who was working the chairs you can rent. So I usually got to sit there for free.  I watched Oakley and Garrett  surf for a little bit and then he came in and we went home.   

Not being able to surf was the worst thing ever. That's always how I let out my feelings. I really never got mad like yelling because I would always surf my anger out. We went tahanan and we ate dinner. I didn't eat much but I went upstairs and layed on my bed. It was around 6 o'clock when my phone rang.  
Hello. I sinabi answering the phone. 
uy Sam, it's Nick. He said. 
uy what's up? I sinabi sounding totally stupid. I had already sinabi uy or hello. 
Just got home. He said. 
That's cool. I said. 
What about you? He ask me. 
Just sitting in my room with total boredom. I said. 
Really? You want to do something tonight then? He ask. 
I was smiling major now. 
Yeah, I'll have to ask though. I said. Hold on. 
I hopped down the stairs and found mom and dad in his office. 
Mom, Dad. Nick ask if I could go di something. Can I?  I ask. 
They both looked at each other and sinabi yeah but 11 is curfew. 
Thanks. I sinabi and walked out. 
I picked my phone back up and said. Yeah we can do something. 
Okay, how about I pick you at 7? He said. 
Yeah, that would be great. I said.
Okay, see you in a bit. Bye. He said. 
Bye. I said. 
I hung up te phone and Rose and Alice were sa pamamagitan ng my side within seconds. 
I need help getting ready! I said. 
Okay let's go upstairs. Rose said. 
Ok. I started hoping towards the stairs and felt cold arms under me in an instance. It was Emmett. 
Thanks Emmet. I said. 
No prob., but I'm mettig this guy before you leave. He said. 
Fine. I said. 
Emmet sat me down on my kama and left the room.     
I made a weird looking face at Rose and Alice.
Don't worry it's not going to be that bad. Alice told.

I took a paliguan and then Alice and Rose did my hair,makeup and picked out an outfit for me.
Rose wanted to curl my hair but I told her I didn't want it curled so we left it straight and down. I wanted to put it in a ponytail but Rose and Alice of course wouldn't let me. Alice picked out my clothes which consisted of shorts and my paborito Billabong Surf Camp t-shirt that I had gotten this summer. I couldn't believe this was going to be my first date. Guys didn't ever talked to me that much because of my lobo gene. They never knew that was the reason but I knew why.
Sam. Samantha! Rose was yelling at me me now.
Sorry, I was thinking. I said.
It's fine but look in the mirro. Alice sinabi holding up a mirro.
Wow. I starred at myself in the mirro. It didn't look like me.Ya'll are good.

Soon the door kampanilya rang and I heard Emmet talking. I hopped down the stairs while Alice carried my cruches. It was easier that way.

My dad walked into the room, once he heard me talking.
Hello Nick. I'm Nathen, Samantha's father. My dad said.
Hello, Mr.Fanning. It's nice to meet you. He sinabi and shook his hand.
Have fun and curfew is 11. Dad sinabi before halik me on the cheek and then leaving the room.
Nick open the door for me and we left the house. He drove a Land Rover. People in Coconut grove weren't poor at all. I have 2 cars and Land Rover and a 2010 G2 Ford Mustang.
You look beautiful tonight. Nick told me.

Okay, let's go to the beach. He said.
We got to the tabing-dagat and Nick parked the car and then helped me get out of the car.

I bet your bummed that you can't surf for a while, huh? He said.
Yeah, its driving me nuts! I said.
