Out of all of the media I have been into, I have been a Pokemon tagahanga longer than any other series that I have been on (BlazBlue, Anime, etc.), maybe except for video games in general. For being a Pokemon tagahanga for about 15 years, it's time for me to state my 10 paborito Pokemon and my reasons for loving them.
10. Salazzle
Starting this listahan we have a Pokemon from the newest generation, Salazzle. First off, I really like Salazzle's dual-typing. Her offensive typing is capable of destroying two of the best defensive types in the series: Steel and Fairy. What helps Salazzle madami though is that she can learn Nasty Plot, with Salazzle already being very fast and very powerful special attacker, she can do some massive damage. She's a really fun Pokemon to use in battle.
9. Lucario
Lucario has such a cool disensyo and a very strong attacker, able to learn powerful moves such as Close Combat and Extremespeed. However, my pag-ibig for Lucario is mostly due to the 8th Pokemon movie: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. Lucario is such a compelling character in that movie and *spoiler for those who haven't watched the movie yet* I almost cried when he died. Because of that movie that made Lucario my 5th paborito Pokemon. However, I had recently liked him less because of his Mega Evolution form. Seriously, Mega Lucario is just too overly-designed and too ugly for my taste; but I still really like normal Lucario.
8. Roserade
If I haven't picked a damo starter, Roserade is my go-to Grass-type Pokemon whenever she is available in the games. She has a very pretty disensyo and I especially pag-ibig her eyes look. Roserade is also very useful Pokemon in Pokemon Platinum where she helped me take down Wake's Quagsire and Cynthia's Milotic. With a damo and Poison typing, she is an ultimate killer of Water, Ground, and Fairy types. I kind of wished that Roserade could learn some boosting moves like Quiver Dance.
7. Aegislash
While I'm not a tagahanga of its pre-evolutions (Honedge and Doublade), I really liked Aegislash's design. I also really liked its dual-typing, Steel and Ghost, which gives it an useful immunity to Fighting and Poison. However, what makes Aegislash even palamigan is that it can be both offensive and defensive (although not at the same time) thanks to its ability, Stance Change. It can change its form sa pamamagitan ng either using King's Shield or any attacking moves.
6. Sharpedo
Sharks have been my paborito animal for how awesome they are and Sharpedo lives up to the sharks' coolness. I pag-ibig using Sharpedo a lot in Pokemon Ruby and Saphire as he help me take down Tate and Liza, and Phoebe very easily, especially Phoebe's two Dusclops. I am also a tagahanga of Mega Sharpedo too, in which made him even cooler. It's kinda sad that Sharpedo is still the only actual shark-like Pokemon (Garchomp is not based on actual shark). Speaking of sharks, why we haven't got a dolphin-based Pokemon yet Game Freak?!
5. Scizor
Scizor was actually my first paborito Pokemon when I saw him in the official Johto Pokemon handbook. However, the fact that Scyther, his pre-evolution, is very rare whenever he is available plus on evolving Syther requires trading, I still have never used Scizor on my team in single player. And because of that, Scizor wasn't on tuktok 10 paborito Pokemon when gen 4 came around. But as time went on, Scizor was slowly increasing to my liking and recently he's now my 5th paborito and it is because of his inclusion to Pokken Tournament DX. Scizor is so much fun to play as in that game in which he became my current main.
4. Gardevoir
The rest of the four Pokemon on my listahan are partially based on my nostalgia and Gardevoir is no exception. Like with Roserade, Gardevoir has a very beautiful disensyo and has a pretty red eyes. Unlike Roserade however, Gardevoir does have a calm and stoic personality look which makes Gardevoir even cooler. It feels very rewarding having Ralts evolve into Kirlia and then to Gardevoir since Ralts has pathetic base stats and she only has Growl as a starting move. Gardevoir is like a Gen 3's Alakazam, a powerful Psythic-type Pokemon.
3. Crobat
Crobat is usually my go-to Flying-type Pokemon for my team whenever he's available. While Crobat is not easiest Flying Pokemon to use (mostly because of his pre-evolution, Zubat), he is certainly one of the better ones. Assess with good moves such as Sludge Bomb, U-Turn, Wing Attack, Roost, and Taunt. My most memorable time when I used Crobat was in Pokemon Black 2 and it was because of one ilipat that Crobat learned, "Acrobatic". With 110 base Flying move, my Crobat was able to outspeed and one-shot most Pokemon that doesn't resist Flying.
2. Sceptile
My very first starter Pokemon. I have a very good memory of Sceptile sweeping Wallace's entire Water Pokemon. Sceptile has such a cool disensyo and it's because I'm usually a tagahanga of reptiles in general. While it was really hard for me to use Sceptile because of his level-up moves were pretty terrible back in Pokemon Ruby and Saphire, but once he learned Leaf Blade, Sceptile was a forced to be reckoned with. Sceptile's Mega Evolution form is my paborito Mega Pokemon since it made Sceptile even palamigan than ever.
1. Salamence
My pag-ibig for Salamence is mostly because of one particular game: Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness. When I first saw Salamence fighting Metagross in that game, I was all hyped up that I get to use a badass dragon Pokemon. While I was disappointed that I ended up with Eevee, I got excited when I caught Shadow Salamence from Eldes near the end of the game. And oh man Salamence was really useful in the battle against Greevil. If it wasn't for him and Shadow Lugia, I would have easily Nawawala against Greevil. I pag-ibig that Salamence has an Intimidate ability and can learn Dragon Dance, making him one of the most powerful non-legendary Pokemon to use!
Honorable mentions:
Magneton, Cloyster, Jolteon, Moltres, Porygon2, Blaziken, Aggron, Camerupt, Milotic, Kyogre, Empoleon, Garchomp, Azelf, Snivy, Gigalith, Eelektross, Greninja, Tyrantrum, Vikavolt, Lurantis, Kommo-o, and Tapu Koko
