Gusot Article: Gusot Vs 20th Century Fox’s Anastasia

I saw this movie on YouTube a few weeks back (although I really want to see it in 3D in the cinemas) but this film reminds me of Anastasia for a strange reason maybe its because its all about a Nawawala princess and a bad boy who fall in love. Anyway here is the parts in the movie I think are similar to Anastasia. Forgive me I couldn‘t get any screencaps to the scenes I am talking about but you will probably know what I mean enjoy

#1 The Characters

First lets talk about the characters in both movies. Rapunzel is a fiesty,headstrong woman who is locked up in a tower sa pamamagitan ng an evil woman named Mother Gothel,Anastasia is also feisty as well as headstrong. They are both Nawawala princesses.

Dimitri and Flynn aka Eugene Fitz Herbert are also similar as they both start off very cocky and then they become madami nicer and caring. Dimitri is of course a con man who is only interested in the money whereas Flynn is a bandit who stoled a crown from the palace. Both men fall for Nawawala princesses.

#2Scenes from both pelikula that are similar

The part where the chameleon is covering his eyes during the bangka scene is similar to Pooka’s one where Anya and Dimitri kiss.

The part where Rapunzel says “Eugene” and kisses him was like the part in Anastasia except Anya doesn’t halik Dimitri right away.

In both pelikula Rapunzel & Anastasia hit their pag-ibig interests Rapunzel hits Flynn over the head with a frying pan(yes folks a frying pan as what the character Flynn sinabi Man I gotta get me one of theses LOL) and Anya hits Dimitri with her hand on the nose.

Maria7Potter Tangled reminded me if Anastasia too! And so did The Princess and the Frog, especially the way the villans are defited...

Silvermist_94 I think Tangled is much much much better than Anastasia. Not mention Flynn and Dimitri, I see Rapunzel is much more beautiful, funnier, smarter and more active than Anastasia. Other things, well,...maybe you're right! It's just my opinion :)

BelleAnastasia Nice article, I also found these similarities between the two movies! Oh, I totally disagree with Silvermist_94. Rapunzel is really pretty, but she looks 11, not 18. Anya is extremely beautiful and is hilarious! It's just that Rapunzel is funny in a childish way, while Anya is funny in a witty and sarcastic way. Also she's not naive, while Rapunzel is. And Anya traveled from St. Petersburg to Paris, that's more than 2 000 kilometers, so as you can see she's quite active.

Before the Proposal

"Your Majesties?" Eugene asked nervously as he knocked on their study room door.
"Come in, boy." a deep voice called calmly from inside. Eugene walked inside, with his hands shaking nervously.
"What is it, Eugene?" the reyna asked as Eugene sat down on the chair in front of his soon to be in-laws.
"Me and Rapunzel have known each other for a while now and-"

Eugine had forgot Rapunzel's 19th birthday, causing a row between the two. Rapunzel had been very stressed latley, she wasn't ready to take over the kingdom, and her father had grown gravley ill.After the row, Rapunzel is approached sa pamamagitan ng a shady character, twice her height, in a cloack, covering his face.
