End of Part 2:
Jane's POV:
Alec looked out the window for a few minutes, then turned back to me, shocked.
"Vampire...children..." He whispered, suprised. He paused, silent for a few segundos as he thought it over. "Immortal..." He mused. "Immortal children."
Our eyes met; I knew we were thinking the same things. What was happening? What was going to happen? And, most importantly, what were we going to do about it?

Part 4:
Jane's POV:
Felix and Demetri burst through a door behind us, at the other end of the corridor.
Before they could ask, I said, "Look out the window."
They did as I told them too, and looked just as shocked as Alec had when he'd first seen the children.
"We have to stop them, whatever they are." Felix growled.
I nodded, agreeing; we all ran down the corridor and outside.
We managed to take most of them down; Alec paralyzed most of them. They fell to the floor, their teeth still bared.
Felix grabbed one, and Demetri followed him as they headed back inside.
I stayed with Alec, just watching them all lie there, confused sa pamamagitan ng what was happening here.
Just then, another child walked into the city. I growled, prepared to incapacitate her. But she made no attempt to attack.
She just stood sa pamamagitan ng the alleyway she'd come from, watching us.
Her blond hair fell in ringlets down the sides of her pale face, brushing her chin. She had dimples, and her face was cute and chubby. She could only be about three-years-old.
Then she smiled, ipinapakita rows of sharp teeth. The smile contorted into an expression of fury. And she wasn't alone.
Hordes of other children, all around the same age, flanked her on either side. They surged toward us, but no matter how hard we tried, they wouldn't be incapacitated.
Something was blocking our powers.
Alec stood beside me still; he was concentrating just as hard on the children as I was.
Then, before I could comprehend what was going on, they sweeped Alec up and took him away.
"No!" I yelled, trying harder than I ever had before to use my power on someone. But it didn't work.
I was nagyelo with horror as the children carried my brother away...
