My paborito place is among the tall, majestic redwood trees of northern California, of which I still think of as my home. But the most special place in my puso that only few I have told about, is on a cliff over looking the Pacific.
Where the trees end and the short meadow begins I have never felt madami at peace than I did there. I sit with the trees to my back with my legs hanging off the cliff, just sitting with the cool breeze blowing against my face. I watch the waves gently lap against the tabing-dagat madami than a thousand feet below me. Though it is of great height I know that I will not fall,...

The cub came upon it suddenly. It was his own fault. He had been careless. He had left the cave and run down to the stream to drink. It might have been that he took no notice because he was heavy with sleep. (He had been out all night on the meat-trail, and had but just then awakened.) Malik

Malik, an Arctic subspecies of the gray wolf, was born May 8, 2000 and is a brother to Shadow. Malik is very curious lobo that shows little intimidation with strangers. He's described as easy-going sa pamamagitan ng the lobo care staff and can be easily distracted sa pamamagitan ng just about anything. Malik was placed in the Retired Pack in November 2009.

For each wolf, you will see a weekly photo, notes on behavior or physical health and a video clip. Please note, due to the large file size of the video clips, they will only be archived for 30 days.
