After Percy and Jason came to, Percy groaned.
“Jeez, Annabeth, do not ever want me to have kids,” Percy carefully sat up on the ground. “‘Cause if I keep getting kicked there that’s where I’m headed.”
“If it’s not with me than no,” Annabeth raised her eyebrows at him.
“Uhhhh . . .” Percy looked scared. “I’m gonna shut up now.”
“That’s what I thought,” Annabeth rolled her eyes at him.
After Nico, Grover, and the Stolls came in Chris grabbed the book to read, but before he could Annabeth gasped.
Chris raised an eyebrow at her.
“I’m just shocked that a child of Hermes actually wants to read,” Annabeth explained.
“HEY!” Conner, Travis, and Chris yelled.
“Pick on your own boyfriend, Blondie,” Clarisse growled. “You don’t see me teasing yours.”
“You’re ALWAYS picking on Percy,” Annabeth said emphasizing always.
“Is it my fault your boyfriend’s dumb and fun to pick on,” Clarisse asked.
“I can hear you!” Percy told her.
Clarisse shrugged.
“And is it my fault that your boyfriend’s father is the second dumbest god right next to your dad,” Annabeth raised her eye brows, as if daring her to challenge.
“That’s it!” Clarisse yelled.
She and Annabeth both got up to fight. It took Percy, Thalia, Nico, Jason, Leo and Jake to hold Annabeth back and it took Chris, Conner, Travis, Katie, Piper, Rachel, Grover, Frank, Hazel, and Reyna all to hold Clarisse back.
“Do not fight!” Piper said, using her charmspeak.
Clarisse and Annabeth immediately calmed down and stopped the almost fight. They sat waiting for the story. Everyone relaxed and joined them.
Chris grabbed the book and began to read.
When I mentioned the name Dodds to him, he would hesitate, then claim she didn’t exist. But I knew he was lying.
“Sure you don’t need lying lessons?” Travis asked Grover.
Grover handed the amount of drachmas needed to Conner.
Conner grinned and said, “Meet at our cabin after we get out of here.”
Something was going on. Something had happened at the museum.
“No, nothing happened,” Nico said, using a mocking one. “Just your average killer, bat winged teacher trying to kill you with a whip.”
“You’re weirder than Leo,” Jason observed.
“Hey!” Leo looked hurt. “No one is weirder than me!”
Jason just shook his head at his weird friend.
I didn’t have much time to think about it during the days, but at night, visions of Mrs. Dodds with talons and leathery wings would wake me up in a cold sweat.
“That bad?” Thalia asked, looking at Percy with concern for her cousin.
Percy looked ashamed, like he didn’t want anybody to know. Grover only nodded.
The freak weather continued, which didn’t help my mood. One night, a thunderstorm blew out the windows in my dorm room.
“What was dad mad about?” Thalia and Jason asked again.
No one answered them so Chris kept reading.
A few days later, the biggest tornado ever spotted in the Hudson Valley touched down only fifty miles from Yancy Academy.
“I remember watching something about that on the news,” Frank said astonished. “I still can’t believe that that was the gods.”
“Well believe it because its reality,” Thalia said glumly.
“An awful reality, but reality,” Nico agreed just as glum.
One of the current events we studied in social studies class was the unusual number of small planes that had gone down in sudden squalls in the Atlantic that year.
“Dad did that?” Jason asked, sounding kind of ashamed.
Percy nodded.
I started feeling cranky and irritable most of the time.
“It was horrible,” Grover shook his head at his best friend. “One time I asked him to clean up his side of the room and then he completely snaps at me!”
“We went through this, get over it,” Percy exclaimed.
“Whatever,” Grover mumbled.
My grades slipped from Ds to Fs.
“Not surprised,” Rachel muttered. “Mine were the same after Percy almost cut me in half.”
Percy rolled his eyes. “I said I was sorry.”
“Whatever,” Rachel said.
I got in more fights with Nancy Bobofit and her friends. I was sent out into the hallway in almost every class.
“Me too!” Leo said happily, extending his fist towards Percy.
“Um, Leo, I don’t think that’s a good thing,” Piper said.
“Yeah, but it’s better than listening to a teacher teach, and you get to skip class,” Leo explained.
“I never thought of that!” Travis, Conner, Chris, and Percy looked annoyed.
“Boys,” Piper muttered rolling her eyes.
All of the girls nodded in agreement and walked over to the guys. They all started punching and kicking the guys until they were unconscious.
“Finally! Peace!” The girls exclaimed.

ALL READY?!? when did u start. we started on like the 20th or 22nd. whichever was on a monday. were out on the 8th. last year, we were out late, on like the 16th, and we started early this year. so last year was a short vacation for us. sry for the long post.

I HAVE EQAO AND TWO MONTHS OF SCHOOL LEFT.*pout* UNFAIR...

we started school in august (waaayyy too early for me) , so if they're going to make us go to school in august , then they have to let us out at least somewhat early, but alot of schools are out already.

we ALWAYS start in august!!!! like around the 20th! ugh! nooooo fair. where do u go?

LUCKY!!! we started on like august 20th or 22th. UGH!!!! n we get out on 8th! last year, we got out on the 16th. so we had a very short summer last year, but it was the BEST!!!!! ever!!

I get out on the june2 and get back on the 15 august

last year was a messed up one. now, were bac to normal. which means that we start around august 20th n end at around june 10th or so. even though last summer was SSUUUUUPER short, it was the BEST TRIP EVEERRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHH! wish i can go there again. :(
