I always thought Alexander Ludwig was hot...its a shame he had to die...i bet he really went for the part as peeta but would probably make a better cato than josh

I kind of wish he wasn't. I wanted Ludwig to play Peeta, but Josh probably had better chemistry with Jen so they offered him Cato. But, now there's all these stupid fans that say they're Team Cato and wish he hadn't died-he's a crazy bastard. He shouldn't be liked.

Cato's not that stupid. He's defitnely a lot madami brawny than smart, but he did survive for quite a while. Plus, the Gamemakers wanted him to die so the last tributes would be Katniss and Peeta to fight to the death. He's defitnely should not be supported, but you got to give him credit for his ability and technique with weapons

I never sinabi he was stupid, he's just a crazy bastard. have you read the books? they played down his crazy in the movie, there wasn't the sting to him breaking the kid's neck. i don't give credit to anyone who took joy in hunting down other kids to kill them. and they didn't care either way if it was cato or katniss or peeta. either one makes "good" television.

I'm not a Cato fangirl (not like 'OMG he's soooooooooo hawt MARRY ME!!!!!), but Cato's also human. Yeah, in the books, he was a 'crazy bastard', and I really hated him. Still do, to a certain point. But with how they wrote Cato in the movie, it reminds you that he's still a kid, he's still a human being.

that's what it should have been like for all the tributes. all of it was messed up. but, i would never root for Cato, because it took death for him to realize that what was happening was wrong, and even then he tried to kill Peeta.(movie Cato) but, I honestly think it has to do with Alexander Ludwig being hot. There were no Cato supporters before the movie.

Still.... Cato deserves credit for his ability with weapons.. he wasn't completely crazy, but not that entirely sane either. I don't think anyone is on Team Cato, they just like Alexander Ludwig. But Cato, himself not the actor, is alright. I guess when he stayed with Clove the same way as Katniss did with Rue, that sorta changed my mind. Plus in Catching Fire, (which I can't wait to see) comes out and we see Cato's family, we'll all feel better for him. :)

not really. I mean I have nothing agaisnt Cato, he was made the way he is because of the games, but I didn't root for him anymore than I rooted for anyone but Katniss and Peeta. And he wasn't the only one who was great with weapons. If any other tributes should be ibingiay credit, it should either be Foxface or the boy who dug up the bombs in front of the platform-that was genius. Course if he had lived, Snow probably would have killed his entire family like Haymitch.
