Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:

After Esther helped in dispatching Dahlia in the season finale, it seemed like everything was looking up for the Mikaelsons — despite leaving Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) stuck in wolf form. But their past will come back to haunt them in a big way next season.
“We talked a lot about how the Mikaelsons have been around for 1,000 years and somewhere along the way, they probably turned a bunch of people into vampires,” executive producer Michael Narducci teased at Comic-Con on Friday. “Those vampires know that if an Original dies, as we saw with Finn and we saw with Kol, an entire sire line would be wiped off. What perspective do those sired vampires have — all of them, the remaining three sire lines — what do they think about the continued existence of the Mikaelson family? That’s the seed for season 3.”
Based on a scene that was shot for the finale, but went unused until they showed it off at Comic-Con, those vampires are not happy. “The Mikaelsons were able to vanquish their parents and their evil nasty auntie, so now they get to experience what it’s like to be the so-called parents themselves of their first line of sired vampires. The children are coming to town with an axe to grind,” executive producer Julie Plec added.
As such, we’re going to be seeing the early years for the Mikaelsons, which means flashbacks that feature Nathaniel Buzolic as Kol. “We’re going to get a glimpse of the whole Original family about 10 years after they were turned and see what their lives are like as they’re struggling to adapt,” Plec said. “If we’re lucky, we may see Finn as well.”
And despite Hayley being stricken with the Crescent Curse, viewers will get to see Tonkin in the flesh next season, especially as it comes to deciding Hope’s fate. “There is, in fact, a custody fight early on in the season that turns violent,” Plec said, noting that the skirmish will result in deciding who should be taking care of Hope.
Suffice it to say, Klaus probably isn’t going to have sole custody of their child. “He’s going to do badly as a single parent,” Morgan said. “He knows he’s messing it up but at least he’s trying.” He may find help from Cami (Leah Pipes) as he becomes the therapist-in-training’s first patient — though the pair growing closer could prove dangerous. “There is an untapped darkness in Cami,” Pipes said.
