Mysterious and intelligent. Strong and capable. If we're talking about the '04 version then my answer changes completely. I don't find either of them that attractive. Raoul is about as dumb as a post. (Really, think about his logic--or lack thereof--when he's trying to outwit the Phantom). And Gerry's Phantom? Weeeeell. I just kinda feel sorry for the bastard. And a little bit irritated. It's a bad sunburn. Get over it! I look worse when I get my lips and chin covered in cold sores during the winter. So I'd ebd up kicking both of them to the curb. If we're going book, I'd have to say that Raoul is cute. He tries, poor thing. Really he does. I got over the blind Raoul bashing years ago. If you look at his character he's young, naive, and dreadfully underinformed about the whole situation. What he really needs is someone to sit him down, give him a cookie, and explain just what the HELL is happening around him. Then pat him on the head and shove him off to the North Pole where he was SUPPOSED to be in the first place. I judge everything on Ramin Karimloo's performance of the Phantom acting wise because I do remember my first time.. and a mixture between his and Michael Crawford's singing versions... I agree with Phantomness not something you'd call him without dying.. but of the two.. I think he is so shut off from everything when it comes down to telling Christine about him and about how he feels he finds it so hard to get his point across, when he actually does it right, like after the anger after she takes the mask of and that segment of All I Ask of You he sings her at the end of Point of No Return, it really is cute.. because it's such a struggle really.. posted sa loob ng isang taon na ang nakalipas.
