Kinda. It goes both ways. I doubt that a TV ipakita can influence whether you decide to have sex before marriage or not. Usually, you already have the idea in your head and nothing is going to change it (if a person wants to have sex, their parents/friends can't even dissuade them from it let alone a tv show).

If anything, this ipakita is influencing people to use protection, not to remain abstinate (which is still a good thing).

So I wouldn't really say that this ipakita is going to stop teens from having sex at all. The teens will do what they want. I know from personal experience that in the heat of the moment, you aren't thinking "I shouldn't do this, I might get pregnant." You're thinking about how tempting it is to not go all the way with the other person and how BADLY you want them (trying to not get too graphic). Not gonna lie, it's hard to resist sex when you come face-to-face with it.

But even if this ipakita is just influencing teens to use protection that's a GREAT thing. It's teaching teens to be madami responsible and how unexpected things can happen. It's ipinapakita them how real the consequences of their actions can be.

Basically, it's a little give or take on each side, but pangkalahatang this ipakita is a good thing. :]

im thinkin side two. it hasn't realy showed the "sacrifices" amy has had to deal with.. i mean it has a little but not as much as it would have in real life. I thought it was going to be good for side one in season 1.. but now all the ipakita talks about is sex. They say it like, every other word.

This is how I picture it: The creator ofthis ipakita intended ipinapakita teenagers that sex was not a good thing before marriage, but then later on in the series they decided.."What the hell? Why not ipakita a little high school drama? Why not ipakita the true stuff that goes on?" LOL. Just a thought. But everyone is having sex and it really isn't being shown as a bad thing. It's kind of weird. Maybe the ipakita was made to ipakita relationships in high school and how difficult they can be. Think about it.
