glelsey That's strange. There are a couple of things you can try... First, when you moved the family from one neighbourhood to the other, I'm guessing you put them into the Sim Households bin and copied them from there into the new town? If this is the case, unless you deleted them from the bin straight after, they should still be there. I don't know how much more you did after you put them into the new town (you said they had another child, but was the mother already pregnant before you put them into the town?) so you might have not lost too much progress. Also, I'm not sure why the new town isn't showing in your game, but you can check to see if your most recent save still exists. You can go to where your saved games are on the computer hard drive: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Saves. In this folder are all of your saved neighbourhoods. Each neighbourhood should have 2 files; one that ends in .sims3 and one that ends in .sims3.backup. Here's what I suggest you do: -Look for the name you gave your new town. See if any of the folders in your Saves folder have this name. -What's at the end of the folder name? P.S. if it ends with .bad it means the folder is corrupted, so I suggest you delete those. However, if you find one that ends in .backup that one might be okay! To see it in-game, try deleting the part that says ".backup" so that the new folder name ends with just .sims3. This will allow the game to recognise it and try to open it. -If it refuses to open in-game, or if the files are not in your Saves folder, that means it's completely disappeared. I'm hoping this is not the case but unfortunately this happens sometimes. I've lost my progress in-game a few times before. Although I realise this won't help your current situation, here's something I do sometimes if I've done a lot with one household and I'm worried about it saving. Every so often (just when something special happens with the family) copy their household to the bin so that you have a backup of them. You can delete outdated backups when you know you don't need them anymore, but it's always a good idea to play it safe. Unfortunately, the game does have quite a lot of glitches like this, so it's just a matter of being aware of them and working around them as much as possible. Good luck!
