Damon was sitting in the couch, his head in his hands. “Is it still not over?” Elena asked slightly worried. “I gave you two painkillers, it shouldn’t hurt no more” Damon looked up and gave her an irritated glance. “I’m not making this up, if that’s what you think” “I didn’t say I think you’re making this up” Elena defended herself. “I just find it strange… Maybe you need to get a doctor” “Yeah, let’s do that” Katherine scornfully said. She came from out of the kitchen. “Let’s go to a nice doctor and have him examine Damon. Surely he wouldn’t notice Damon doesn’t have a pulse or that his puso doesn’t beat and when he needs to fill in a file they wouldn’t say anything about his birth date, now would they?” “Katherine, lay off” Damon softly said. “She means it well” he defended Elena which was rewarded with a little smile of hers. “I know who can help me” he continued. He paused and looked from Katherine to Elena. “Bonnie Bennett” “Damon, I don’t think she’ll help you” Elena sinabi being realistic. Katherine laughed. “I don’t think she’ll help you? Honestly? She freaking hates him! If she knew Damon was in pain, she would just stand sa pamamagitan ng and enjoy it! So, ‘I don’t think she’ll help you’ is quite an understatement” Elena opened her mouth to get back on her, but Damon interrupted. “So, you’re saying I shouldn’t go to her” he said. “No” Katherine said. “I think you shouldn’t go alone…. I don’t trust her, she’s a witch” “I can take care of myself, Katherine” Damon said. “That’s my best friend you’re talking about” Elena sinabi upset. Katherine rotated her head to her doppelganger. “Your best friend tried to kill him twice” she sinabi with a threatening voice. She slowly stepped towards Elena, who stepped pasulong in Katherine’s direction until they were an inch away from each other. “You broke his puso twice” she said, looking straight in Katherine’s eyes. “You nearly destroyed him and now you’re pagganap all worried and defending on him, trying to get back in his good books, but guess what, it’s not going to work. He will not let you in again, you won’t get to break his puso a third time… And sa pamamagitan ng the way, I thought you sinabi it was always Stefan”

Interviewer: Was there a pagtatalo in the writer's room as to whether she would choose Stefan or Damon in this episode, or did you always agree that it would be Stefan?
Julie Plec: We were heading toward the end of the road knowing that as a human, Stefan was Elena's choice. We also knew what was going to happen at the end of the episode. Elena is no longer a human when she wakes up and when the memories come back and when her whole life goes upside-down. Who's to say what that does to her? Who's to say what kind of person she becomes, and how that impacts who she loves and why she loves them? I'm not saying that's going to send her running instantly into Damon's arms, absolutely not, but it's going to ulap the issue even more.

I have been obsessed with the vampire diaries for like ever and I was so excited for this season to start! However, after watching the first and segundo episodes, it felt kind of boring for some reason. I think that the whole season 3 is meant to have a madami upbeat and less of a gothic and dark atmosphere, like season 2, but for some reason I don't feel the same spark and passion and i guess, epicness that season 2 really had. i have also heard about the ratings and number of viewers plummet and so i feel like i'm not the only one who thinks that there's something missing. I noticed that I am losing interest in the show, because I forgot about the new 'hybrid' 3x02 episode that premiered on thursday, so i watched it later over the weekend on dvr.
