I know this is outdated but...

Okay, so last night I was just watching old episodes and in season one, we see Rick in the city riding on a horse and all of a sudden, he sees a helicopter fly overhead and that put confused me. I have asked other sites and many have sinabi that it is the helicopter that crashed in season 3 that Michonne and Andrea found but I don't think so. They may have already sinabi the answer in the show, but I don't know!! Thanks for answering!

Personally, I think its a great tanong because I asked the same thing. From my understanding from the ipakita is that before Rick discovered the Governor, there was a Military Base fully operational and that the helicopter was out of range and couldn't communicate with the base. This is pure speculation, but I think the base got overrun and that's why the pilot couldn't get in contact on the radio in the beginning of the episode. I personally don't think that's the same copter because that would mean that they been flying for a quite some time and that doesn't seem realistic to me. I might be wrong but that is what I believe.
