For me, it has to be hiding from the herd in 2x01, followed by Shane going batshit during Barnageddon. The Governor killing Hershel, the line-up at the trough in Terminus, and the unveiling of Lizzie's insanity are pretty far up there, too. Honorable mention to Dale and Shane's "I know what kind of man you are" exchange, but that's a different kind of intense.

^ I agree the herd scene was intense as well. The barn scene wasn't too intense for me because I felt like it was shown up by sophia being the zombie. I did think the season 1 finale was pretty intense though when the guy locked down the CDC and people had to choose between submitting to death or trying to fight to find a way out.

Well I guess we all have different perceptions of "intense". A lot of those weren't intense to me, let alone contenders for "most intense" of the series.

But the CDC in 1x06 & The big herd in 2x01 were already mentioned.

Well, the exchange of Carol & Beth vs the two cops and the Noah thing.

Bibi69: I just want you to know that I wasn't trying to insult you or anything. I was sincerely trying to come up with a list of the absolute most intense moments of the series and a lot of the moments that you mentioned, I didn't think of. I thought it might be fun to do a countdown poll with everyone of the most intense moments. After your comment, I didn't realize there were so many moments that one could consider to be so intense. You gave quite a lot of options but I fear that's far too many for a countdown poll. It would mean a lot to me if you narrowed down everything you offered to what you considered the most intense so that I could include them in the countdown?

Buzzkill Alert: whatever option wins here will also probably win the countdown.

^ I'm not on any kind of buzz and A) That's not necessarily true if Bibi69 or anyone else gives an option not on this countdown that people find more intense [That's why I had an option for "Other", for things I missed.] & B) It's not about what wins for me, I enjoy the entire ranking system and seeing where everything places in relation to each other, not just what wins #1.

Beth was and still is my all time favorite character.Since she died in Coda I have a feeling my new living favorite character will be Maggie Greene,who is Beth Greene's sister.Beth will always be my favorite character.
