It was January so that meant only a semester left of our childhood days. All 14 of us were excited; but at the same time nervous since we all wondered what will happen to our group after high school. I know we already know that we will be closer than ever before due to what happened today which is the first araw of summer; but 5 months nakaraan none of us knew this would happen. Everything in January was typical, since it was still cold out to go ice-skating and drink hot tsokolate while marshmallows were roasting on an open fire. This buwan was always peaceful for us since there were no holidays; we just got back from break, there were no birthdays either yet sadly this January wouldn’t be so peaceful. She kept a secret from us all that broke her on the inside and we didn’t find out until 5 months later what did. I wish January hadn’t seemed so perfect and we could have figured out this mess before it happened. Why couldn’t picture perfect be an average school month; but I guess we were all so blinded sa pamamagitan ng the excitement of seeing each other after a 1 buwan break.
