“It’s overdone…” Icy added for him. “Do you know how many ‘sexy’ nurses I’ve seen today?”

“It’s not over done when I do it…” Darko insisted.

“Why don’t you just enter the kalabasa carving contest instead?” Icy suggested.

“Because Mirta always wins and it’s not fair.” Darko pouted.

“Oh for the pag-ibig of God…” Icy scowled. “Buy a better costume or I swear I’ll take Valtor to the party instead.”

“No way am I wearing this.” Valtor frowned as Icy presented her with a pastel dress. “Absolutely not.”

Icy rolled his eyes. “Sure you are.” He shoved the dress into her arms. “If I have to wear this ridiculous tux, you have to wear a dress equally as appalling.”

“Whose idea was it to do this anyways.” Valtor muttered.

“You sinabi you needed new clothing.”

“No…I mean whose idea was it to swap the genders of everyone in all of Magix!?” Valtor threw her hands in the air.

“I thought that was your idea too.” Icy declared.

“Why would I…? What would that even accomplish?”...

We all went our separate ways on our horses. For once I was enjoying the feeling of the frosty air hit my lungs. We passed sa pamamagitan ng the cabin I lived four years of my life in. I asked them if we could stop real quickly just to say goodbye to the place. They nodded as I got off my horse and went inside. I walked inside and was soon hit sa pamamagitan ng a flood of old memories. Flashback: It was my sister’s eighteenth birthday. I missed the palace with everyone, but I left for their own good. Ever since I moved out here the letters stopped coming. I looked at the apoy burning and realize how much I missed everyone....

When I woke up, I physically didn't have the energy to open my eyes all the way. It was hard to breathe, and I felt like someone was strangling me. I heard that man's voice again, just as evil as it was the last time we talked.

"Finally. It's been two days since the last time you were awake. How's it going for you?" He smirked. I couldn't say anything, I just lay there. I could feel my energy draining sa pamamagitan ng the second.
