“What did you do for Summer’s engagement ring? I don’t think you have shown me the ring.”
“I asked Lauren for the number of a jewelry designer that she uses for Fenmores and she gladly gave me the number when I asked. I designed Summer’s engagement ring myself because I remembered all the details that she had told me as she was telling me about her dream proposal that I had ibingiay her. Summer has no idea that I went a little step further and had them engrave an inscription.”
“What is the inscription?”
“Let me ipakita you.”
Kyle grabs the ring out of the box to ipakita Faith and she is shocked yet pleased at the inscription. It says MY ONE AND ONLY and is a beautiful platinum style band with Summer’s birth stone encircled in a beautiful 7.5 diamond carat.
“It’s a beautiful ring, Kyle. How much did it cost you?”
“It cost me about $400,000 and I have to say that I paid way madami for Summer’s engagement ring than I did for Lola’s engagement ring because Summer is the one that I’ve always loved.”
“What did you do with the nakaraan engagement ring that you gave Summer?”
“I decided that I would have the engagement ring melted down with her wedding ring from the other time along with my wedding ring from the marriage to Lola and the one from the wedding with Summer to create something special for her that I’m planning on surprising her with on our wedding day.”
“Did you ask my father for permission to marry Summer?”
“No, because I knew he wouldn’t give it to me. I did ask your grandfather though because he’s always liked me and thought I was perfect for Summer. He is after all the patriarch of your family and the only person in your family who has supported our relationship. He’s the only person who saw the ring disensyo because I showed it to him.”
“Did you tell your father about wanting to marry Summer?”
“I didn’t tell him that we had come up with a plan or that you were going to be filming it or even that I already had the ring. All I told him was that I was thinking about it in order to catch her off guard.”
“Where are the two of you going to live?”
“When I told your grandfather that I was going to propose to Summer and showed him the ring, he gifted us some land that he sinabi we could build a house on. Summer doesn’t yet know about that and I’m planning on telling her when we leave to collect Nicole.”
