Tony sat back on his sofa with a feeling of satisfaction. What a day, Team Gibbs had wrapped up a case that had taken over 3 weeks to solve. It was Friday and the team had the weekend off, Gibbs was away to Stillwater to see his dad and he had managed to talk Ziva, Abby and McGee into movie night at his!
Abby had insisted on picking the movie much to Tony's dismay, but that changed when to his surprise she turned up with The Shining!
So here they all were, McGee and Abby on one sofa snuggled under a duvet and him and Ziva on the other sofa under a duvet but not quite snuggling. Her thigh was pressed against his though and he was loving the contact, he especially loved that she was wearing shorts so it was her bare thigh touching his!
Ziva sat waiting for the movie to start, she thought about the fact that she had almost sinabi no to coming tonight. It was getting harder and harder to be around Tony and not do anything about it, it hurt so much madami so these past few months.
She glanced sideways at the gorgeous man sitting susunod to her, then looked over at McGee and Abby. A surge of jealousy ran through her, McGee had his arm round Abby and Abby was tucked in to his chest. How she wished she could sit like that with Tony. Once again she regretted saying yes to watching this movie!
Tony dimmed the lights and pressed play on the dvd remote, McDigital had rigged out his cinema sound system the week before and this would be the first time he had gotten the chance to use it! And with a class Jack Nicholson movie. The fact that he had Ziva sa pamamagitan ng his side made the night perfect, well not exactly perfect if that was the case Ziva would be in his arms like the two lovebirds on the other sofa!
Tony went to take some of the papkorn from the bowl in Ziva's lap, putting his hand in the bowl he grazed hers as she was getting some too. Ziva gasped and looked round at Tony, looking back at her he noticed that she must have felt the same jolt that he did when their skin touched. Their eye's locked for what seemed like forever but was only about 10 seconds.
Tony smiled at her "Sorry Ziva guess we had the same idea".
Ziva just smiled back a slight blush coming over her face and she looked away. Tony noticed this and it gave him some satisfaction to know that he still got to her.
Although he had wanted to spend some time away from work with his team he had an ulterior motive, tonight he was going to tell Ziva how he felt, he knew they'd get the opportunity at some point and if he left it any longer he felt he would go mad. Six years of dancing around each other was long enough, and he was sure Ziva felt something for him. He caught her staring at him when she thought he was busy and the look in her eye's was so intense, and it felt so shockingly intimate!
It was halfway through the movie and although she was enjoying the storyline she couldn't fully concentrate, Tony had somehow gotten closer to her and he was leaning into her shoulder. Just the sound of his breathing or the slight chuckles he made at the tv, were heightening her senses. Plus the fact that she was sure Abby and McGee were feeling each other up under that duvet made her uncomfortable.
Leaning pasulong she grabbed her serbesa off the mesa to took a swig, just as Tony started to play about with the duvet. Almost as soon as she raised the bottle to her lips she felt Tony's hand brush her thigh. And with what felt like a burst of electricity drive through her she jumped causing her to drop her bottle on her lap!
"Damn" Ziva sinabi jumping up from the sofa,
Tony looked at her in shock "Ziva i'm sorry i was just a bit warm, i was trying to get some air"
"It is ok Tony, it was an accident, i'm just going to clean myself up" And walking out of the room she looked round at him only to catch him staring right back at her with a worried look on his face.
Ziva had been in the bathroom for only a min when she heard a knock at the bathroom door "Yes, i'll just be a second"!
She heard Abby's voice reply "Uh Ziva, could i talk to you for a minute"?
Ziva put down the wash cloth she was wiping herself with and unlocked the bathroom door, Abby in her usual dramatic way came bursting through the door.
"Are you ok Ziva, Tony is worried he has upset you"? Ziva laughed "Yes Abby i am fine, it was just some spilled beer. Look"! Ziva sinabi pointing to her stomach area "All cleaned up"
Ziva looked back up at Abby and noticed Abby was giving her a funny look "Uh Ziva, would you think it would be rude if me and McGee take off soon"?
Ziva smiled "Is it back on then with you two, i have noticed how close you seem lately"!
Abby grinned "Its early days but we're getting there, its different this time we both know what we want"
Then asking Ziva again but with some teasing in her voice "You and Tony won't mind would you, it'll give you two some time alone".
Ziva blushed "What makes you think we need time alone Abby? We spend time alone everyday at work"!
"Come on Ziva, everyone know's how you both feel about each other! Its like the two of you are the last ones to figure it out or your in denial or something".
Abby stared at her waiting for her to deny it but Ziva just sighed heavily "I guess your right Abby i have been fighting my feelings for Tony for a long time, guess i have not been doing a very good job"!
Looking into Abby's eye's intently Ziva asked "You really think Tony has feelings for me?"
"Ziva an amazing agent you may be but you suck at pagbaba people emotionally! Tony adores you, i'd go as far to say he loves you. How many guy's would go on a suicide mission for there partner, especially when he thought you hated him, the thought you were dead and he still had to avenge you! Talk to him Ziva, the longer you hold back the less time you'll have together"!
Ziva thought about it, should she do it? She wanted to, God she wanted to. The fact that Tony might feel the same way changed things, made all her fantasies of them being a couple seem madami real.
Looking up at Abby she smiled "Yes, i'll talk to him. Tonight if i get the chance"!
With a grin wider than ever Abby replied “That our cue to leave then”, and with that she left the bathroom.
Ziva’s head was spinning, Tony felt the same way. According to Abby anyway, guess I’ll find out later. And smiling she walked back to sit susunod to Tony.
Tony watched as Ziva entered the room, she looked happier now than she had seemed earlier. He wondered what Abby had sinabi to her.
Looking across at Abby, she was whispering in McGee’s ear. They seemed to be wrapped up in each other tonight, they were in the honeymoon stage so it was only natural they be all over one another!
Ziva was sitting back down susunod to him and this time she brought her legs right up onto the sofa so her knee’s were on his thigh, he sighed hoping he’d he’d be able to restrain himself. At least while he had other guests, and just as he had had the thought McGee stood up.
“Uh Tony, we’re going to get going. We could do with an early night, I uh hope you don’t mind! Tony just gave an understanding smile “Sure Probie, we don’t mind do we Ziva”! Ziva shook her head and looked at Abby who was smirking at her “No I do not mind, you two get off, spend some time alone”! And with that they sinabi their goodbye’s and Tony saw them to the door.
Ziva sat listening, nervously waiting for Tony to come back through. She heard the door shut and Tony’s footsteps coming closer.
