What do you think of color overs?

I feel this video is madami than 100 words to describe how I feel.

I hate them.

Most people do the most shitiest job on them.
I swear, I have to strain myself from speaking my mind on people's shitty-ass color-overs.

Yes, I find most of them shitty..
Don't start giving me bad comments if you color-over. -.-

I also don't understand the people who do a pretty good job on a color-over..
If they are that good, they should be able to draw their own damn character.

Ok I no u dont like me but I think I can help with this question. I think u can color over character pictures like the one I have posted below. If u color over a picture someone else made, that isnt a good thing. Lots of peoples OCs began as a TDI character being colored over. Then as u make madami pictures of them ur creativity increases and instead of coloring over pictures, ur drawin ur very own. So its ok to color over character pictures just not other peoples pictures.

I use bases. I use them because I'm a talentless asong babae who can't draw for shit. There. I sinabi it. Some people have talent and can draw on Paint.Net, and I'm not one of them. So I use bases. Eat it. That is all....*gets shot*

In my opinion, it has a complete lack of creativity and talent when people do colorovers. Just using a character from the ipakita and slapping some new clothes on them and calling them your character doesn't require much thinking at all :I Actually putting effort into drawing your own character usually makes it mean a lot madami to you, it also gives you a feeling of achievement.
Also, a lot of people just get straight to their colorovers without even making up a personality for the characters first, which usually leads to a sue or a stereotypical emo .n.

In my opinion, colorovers, even if it's not using someone else's work from deviantart or wherever else, is still using someone else's work because the characters belong to Camp TV productions & Teletoon in the first place.
