I walked to the mat in the center of the walonsulok and stood there, like a statue. Duncan walked over and stood across the mat from me. I waved nervously. "Hi...Duncan."

He just stood there, fists balled at his sides.

I gulped hard. This isn't happening, this isn't happening, I thought to myself. This was too unreal. Duncan loved me. Or so I thought. I prayed in my head that this would end cleanly. But somehow, I knew it wouldn't. My skin flushed pale as the kampanilya rung. "Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn," I sinabi quietly. I stepped pasulong and gulped again but my throat was dry as cotton.

He was glaring at me...HARD. I took my first step, and as did he. We circled the octagon, and as soon as the first bead of sweat dropped off my nose, everything seemed to go in slow motion. Duncan looked enraged, adn his leg started to slowly lambanog at me to kick me.

I raised my hand and swatted his foot away. He gasped and I swung my leg on the ground, tripping him. I jumped to pin him down, but he rolled out of the way.

This will not end well, I thought. There was no way I could beat a world-champion wrestler.

Duncan got up and reacherd to grab me. I quickly shifted out of the way, and the susunod thing I knew, my arm burned. He had hold of my left arm, and he dug his nails into my flesh. I cried out and he flipped me over his shoulder onto my back on the ground. I yelled in pain and was too stiff to move. I opened my eyes then realized the crowd was chanting "Jump! Jump! Jump! Jump! Jump! Jump!" and the susunod thing I knew, my entire world went black.

A whistle blew and applause roared over the stadium. Duncan applauded for himself and walked out of the walonsulok with his trainors. Little did he know, there was no reason to be applauding. Duncan grabbed a water canteen and a small towel.

Out of nowhere, Bridgette and Gwen appeared sa pamamagitan ng Courtney's side, and they were motioning for people to come at them. Duncan heard Bridgette and Gwen talking or arguing, adn didn't seem that interested to listen. But one thing caught his attention loud and clear as day. "Call 9-1-1!!!"

Duncan turned around and dropped his stuff. He ran to his girlfriend's side, tears welling up in his eyes. Courtney lay lifeless on the ground, and Bridgette was frantically touching Courtney's neck and wrist. Duncan gasped and tuned into the scenario before him.

Courtney was dead.
