Facts for a n00b?

This is an important one, but you must be able to identify what is canon to the series and what is fanon. For example:
-Sakuya knifes Meiling because she is sleeping on the job. FANON.
-Suwako disappears from existence if she doesn't gather enough faith. Canon.
As a Touhou fan, you must identify what the series holds true to itself instead of the what the so called "fans" portray it to be. However if you do like a bit of the fanon, that's okay, so as long as you know that could never happen in the series itself that's okay. You might want to do a lot of research to be able to do this so I'd recommend visiting these sites to gather up on info:
