THE EDEN CHRONICLES
BOOK ONE: A LITTLE BIT madami THAN LOVE
PART 1: TWERA AND THE PRINCE
Chapter 3
Kikikyo circled high above Councilpeak, watching his father land. <He makes it look so easy,> he thought before angling into a shallow dive. There was barely enough room on the broad ledge for both of them.
Parthurnax strode confidently into the Councilroom, Kikikyo struggling to keep up. Most of the Council was already seated at the huge round table. A pair of scarlet-and-gold phoenixes rose from their seats and greeted the ancient king.
Kikikyo sttod sa pamamagitan ng awkwardly. He knew the various forms of greeting, having been drilled in them since he was a decade old. Parthurnax greeted the phoenixes, then stepped to one side.
"Lwok nitha in mirach, Kikikyo," he said. Kikikyo gathered his wits as the turkey-sized birds approached.
"Nrakka, Nucla Kikikyo," the largest of the two said. Kikikyo responded in the traditional way. Through the entire Councilmeeting, he maintained an air of perfect peace and solemnity. Inside, the young prince screamed for release.
***
Lwok nitha in mirach means "and this is my son." Nrakka, Nucla Kikikyo, means "Well-met, Prince Kikikyo." In all of the Eden Chronicles books, languages other than the character's native tongue will remain untranslated in the story. Watch for a special artikulo about the phoenix language.
Councillmeetings are full of traditions and formalities. It would be tedious to outline them all here. In the full version, this chapter will be expanded to include the whole meeting, as well as madami descriptions of their surroundings.
Sorry it was so short. Hope you liked it anyway. susunod chapter's a double feature.

IN THE susunod CHAPTER…

(Verse 1)
Waitin'
it's loadin'
just wanna get out of here
Waitin'
I'm fine
just wanting you to get out of my life
How long does it take for you to leave?
just wonderin'
How long does it take for you to leave?
Just Wonderin in in in
(Chorus)
I've been waitin'
my entire life
for you to leave
Petals and Sticks
all fake and broken
you didn't know what love
was till you met me
I bet you haven't changed
since
I Waitin' Waitin'
(Verse 2)
ipakita up in a kulay-rosas dress
waitin' for my pag-ibig to address
I'm like come on
or I'm gettin' out of here
(Chorus)
(Bridge)
I want the life to leave
through thin air
7 miles away
I'm Waitin'
(Pre-Chorus)
for you to leave me
for you to go outerspace
and that's what I'm waitin' for
(Chorus)

He woke up all alone in the darkness. He felt something
cold and metallic around his wrist. What the hell? What's going on? He had been handcuffed before, but not like this. He's an escape artist, illusionist even. He's a very famous man, living in the sinful and colorful city of Las Vegas, Nevada. Yet, why is he locked in this room all alone? He looked down and noticed he was shirtless. Where's my shirt? His muscular tanned abs were exposed in the dark room, as he felt his long dark hair touching his shoulders and below his neck. He pulled on the handcuff. Damn it! I've escaped out of these before! Why isn't it working now?
He heard footsteps coming, as his puso started to race. He heard a giggle, as a blonde girl wearing his symbols and clothing line stood before him. She smiled in a sinister way, "Hello, Mr. Angel! We've been expecting you!"

I wrote this a while back, for my language arts class. Please don't copy, enjoy!!!:)
Don't be careless
About the world
Many people are penniless
They have nowhere to go
Generations through generations
Our numbers subtract
Stand up and fight
We are not powerless
Together we unite
And restore our happiness
Come on let's be earnest
We can improve academically
ipakita that we care
Our people need compassion
We live and love
And we think of above
Forever and ever
We will be together
No matter how wicked
Or cruel we can be
We all live and die
In this democracy on Earth

Reality hurts, I have experience
It makes you feel free, and then drags you to the ground
It tells you that everything will be ok
Later it crushes all hope and faith
It makes you see what you want to see
Let’s you feel what you want to feel
It puts you in those “oh snap” positions
It laughs at you in the face for your mistakes
It can help you find pag-ibig or heartbreak
In the end reality gives you the same outcome
The very outcome you tried to avoid
Reality doesn’t control me, I refuse to be destroyed
