Chapter 24
Trapped in a deadly game
It was bizarre, it had about everyone I knew and learned from the visions, but I couldn’t rush in, we had to go one at a time. Although it was form Dorothy’s point of view.
The first page was brief, it basically explained it was Dorothy’s sort of diary, and she’d put some key notes and thoughts in it two. When we flipped to the other page it was of me, it took two whole pages. One page a picture of me smiling brightly at the camera, obviously young, and the susunod was of what Dorothy thought of me.
It warmed my puso all over, she loved me like I loved her, a lot. It brought tears to my eyes to know that I wasn’t someone she’d just pretend to care about, which sadly has happened to me before.
The susunod two pages was of mom and dad, not granted with a picture like me. It was the same thing that I had been thinking of them, and I’m starting to think of it because of Dorothy’s influence.
“Dorothy was always cool,” I told the guys. “She always had this…I don’t know, calming aura or something that could dazzle anybody. She was always so walang tiyak na layunin and different, she could make you cry one minuto then laugh the other. That was just her.”
Jess nodded, her eyes distant. Cadence cocked his head to the side as he turned to the other page. “Doesn’t surprise you that she’s kept a journal?”
I shake my head. “Nope, she always had a lot of journals in her room, this is the only one I’ve just recently learned she hid then kept in her room.”
The susunod page was of Jessica, and she had a picture. It was a really old one, because she had her braces in that picture, but her eyes shone with that rebellious delight they do now. Jess made a noise of distaste, and shook her head.
“Oh, come on Jess, you look adorable.” I tell her.
“No, I look like a geek and a dork.” Jess says.
“A cute one,” Cadence ang sumagot and I grin as she clenches her jaw, being her normal stubborn self.
The susunod page was of, believe it or not. Serache. There was a picture of her smiling lovely at the camera, but her eyes seemed a bit sad.
“Cousin of besty Meredith Donners, seems like a sweetie I’m not fooled. Can tell she hates us and what we do, but been talking with Meth, and were going to…” I faltered. “Get her.”
“Keep on reading,” Jess urged.
“Spotted talking with Destiny, (sister), but gotten it taken care of, but still she will pay for crossing that line and interfering…” I paused again. “Interfering with what?”
“Easy,” Jess sinabi quickly. “Territory wise, our Dorothy’s sister and Serache’s trying to hang with you. Dorothy doesn’t want her interfering with her family, it must be against game rules.”
Cadence nods. “Could explain why the girl who practically tells you everything doesn’t tell you this. I bet she made the rule to, not wanting you to get involved.”
“But I am involved.” I say. “No matter how hard Dorothy tried.”

The other side's covered in dust
You can only see ahead
But not back again...
There's no time for disappointment
No time to look back and cry
We gotta go ahead and see to the future
Cuz there's so much madami to be done then
Look to the future
We will see ahead
Nobody's gonna wipe up the other side
You can't look back now, just see to the future
The future's so much madami important than the past
So why weep over the memories?
Just plan ahead for the future
And you will find it's worth it
The one-way glass
Is a wonderful thing to have
And it helps you to stop worrying over your troubles,
To go ahead and shoot for the future
We will not look back to the past
Cuz it's covered in dust, no one can see through
Just go ahead and look to the future
The clear future that everyone sees
