No matter the coaxing, Stilere stayed stubborn, she wasn’t being left behind. You see, it’s like really early in the morning, how early? Like friggin three a.m., that’s how! I am tired, and I certainly don’t want any spook in my life now.
“I’m coming!” Stilere yelled defiantly, smirking when she saw Alex’s shoulder’s deflate. She’s won the battle.
“Fine,” Alex said. “But be careful, oh and your on watchful tower.”
Watchful tower was our way of saying something close to house arrest, one or two of us would be watching you at all times, you couldn’t do this and if you tried we’d stop you. It’s kind of funny how much codes we’ve made up. We’ve gotten pretty close.
“I’ll watch her,” Brooklyn sinabi when nobody piped up. Personally I thought Abe would be a perfect watch guard, but his attention was elsewhere, on someone (birds of love, please).
I speak up. “I’ll help.”
Brooklyn nods and we ignore Stilere’s scowl as she enters our little van. The van is an ugly white, easily distractible, and inside is all chaos. The seats are plaid, there’s dried plaint splatter all over the place, and you can tell it hasn’t been used. Not a surprise it belongs to me.
Or madami like my grandpa, who in his will would be ibingiay to me on his death. My parents don’t think I’m responsible enough to have it though, I have to do something to deem worthy.
Hope this would be enough.

I knew we were there when I felt my pulse quicken and my breathing come in quick puffs, and looking around I could tell it was happening to the others. We could feel the power pulsating from the dangerous ocean where the book once settled in.
I think it was meant to be threatening, but it made it madami exciting for me. I felt madami alive, like I was wire getting it’s electricity on.
I followed the rest out, and Darren and Brooklyn took Stilere sa pamamagitan ng each of her hands and led her far from the seas.
“Alright,” Alex sighed, looking at the blue devil warily. “Here goes nothing.”
“Just let the best swimmers go under there,” Iris said, looking very tired. “Less time consuming.”
We nodded, and I gulped down the dread, I knew this was coming. I was a good swimmer, always had been, but I was a bit frightened to plunge back into there. Alex, sensing my distress, touched my shoulder gently. “You don’t have to.”
I shook my head. “Better to face your fears than shy away from it.”
Alex nodded, squeezing my shoulder. He let go and just took off his sweater, leaving his sando and jeans on, I didn’t blame him, the water should be cold.
“What’s our signal going to be?” Iris asked, looking guilty to not be the only one not going in.
“We have none,” I say simply. “Let’s just be careful, and Iris, don’t fell guilty, it’d good to have someone outside not watching Stilere anyway.”
Iris nodded. “Good luck.”
I nodded, facing the sea again. I closed my eyes braced myself and plunged into the unknown.

Velvet signed me up book club thing. I do like to read books and she thought that maybe I could meet some new mga kaibigan that have something in common with me. I think she is full of baloney. Velvet made me promise to go to the first meeting tomorrow. I don't know. We'll see how my mood is sa pamamagitan ng tomorrow.

After much debate, I have decided to try my hand at Pagsulat a mystery novel. I've always loved mysteries, especially the original "Sherlock Holmes" stories, and shows like "Monk" and "Twin Peaks". The summary for the story I'm Pagsulat is in the in the section below. If you like the idea, let me know, because I'm really excited for the story!
