Because sometimes it is easier to ipakita madami detail in words than in a movie. Also, because they could not make the entire book fit into the movie, so you Nawawala some of the detail there too.

It seems to be a general rule with pelikula that they cut out bits. i suppose the film would be like 5 hours long. it sucks that they cut out bits but i guess its for the best.
