Why do people have to compare Twilight and Harry Potter and choose which one is better?

Ya, I totally agree with you! I am a HUGE tagahanga of both Twilight and Harry Potter, and I pag-ibig them both equally. They should oth be able to coexist peacefully, and continue being loved and obsessed sa pamamagitan ng us fans :3 Long live Twilight and Harry Potter!!!

yeah, I think the same..they should but I don't know why people like to compare..
maybe because they're both series of "fantastic events"...but they're so different..I like harry potter too, but like Twilight more, and it's so normal...wonder why fans from both hate each other, cause some do hate the other fans..so weird...shouldn't happen..

I think because they are such different series that people compare them to eachother, its just what people do. They do it on this website all the time aswell for eg. "Who do u like better? Edward or Jacob?" They 2 different characters completley but they are popular and are compared because about 70% of people are either on Team Jacob or Edward and people like to see who is on their side of the argument and who is against them. They also do it with actors and characters that those actors are playing for eg. "Who do u like better? Rob or Edward?" They are 2 completley different people( considering edwards fiction) and people just like to see which side you are on.
and another 1 - they did it with actors looks too.
for eg. Who is hotter Taylor or Rob?- They have very different looks but everyone likes to add their opinion.

So i think people always compare harry potter and twilight because they are probably the 2 most popular series ( like Edward and Jacob)and people prob like to pagtatalo and argue over which 1 is better or to just see which side people are on.

harry potter was a very popular movie and twilight is now a very popular movie and TWILIGHT is way way better than harry potter

i think people compare them because they are both in the pantasiya genre and have captured the imagination of the masses.

yeah! my sister for example is piecing me off every araw cauz she thinks that the twilight's idea is stolen from the HP books!and she've only seen the twilght movie and haven't even read it! Harry Potter has nothing to do with Twilight!! the only common is that they're books made with imagination, they aren't true and that everyone in the world loves them!!

I like both Twilight and Harry Potter very very much. But it's true, you can't compare them because they're way to different. In my opinion people who didn't read Harry Potter can't say twilight is better. I really hate it when I'm on the twilight or Harry Potter spot and i see picks like: Do you think Harry Potter or twilight is better. You CAN'T compare them!!

and i hate it when people compare them and make us choose between one or the other.. they're just two different stories and i pag-ibig them both for different reasons!

if i had to choose i'd probably sinabi twilight because of how it made me feel, but i couldn't imagine my life without HP either!!
so yeah they seriously have to stop doing this.. they can't be compared to anything because they're just so unique! <3
