Okay imprinting doesn't mean you fall in pag-ibig neccesarily even though eventually they would. Imprinting means you have found the person that you can't live without. Obviously Jacob is nit IN pag-ibig with Renesmee until she grows up. Right now he loves her and needs to be around her.
