But, no. I didn't. It's her story to tell. It's nice to see someone else's point of view, yes, but I did like Stephenie Meyer's initial idea of having Bella tell her story.

I suppose but, I was really looking pasulong to a vampire fight in the first book and because Bella was on the virge of death I missed it.

That's true. I mean, it would have been nice to read ablut Edward and James' fight, but it wouldn't have followed canon with Bella's POV and all that. However, you've probably heard of Midnight Sun, Twilight from Edward's perspective, and if/when Stephenie decides to finish it, we'll be able to see their fight :)
