Chapter Six: Let The Flames Begin...Oh Glory
~PART TWO: I'm Sitting All Alone Feeling Empty~

I watched as Jake was pulled to his feet, mouth duck-taped shut, hands tied behind his back. As I watched, a ramen grabbed me sa pamamagitan ng the hair and looked directly into my eyes.
"Lovebirds?" He chuckeled then. "Too bad you didn't make it!"
I felt my hand be tugged behind my back, tied together with rope. And then I felt a ramen removing the gear and weapons, adding a a cavity paghahanap to the listahan also!
"Hands, hands! Watch the hands!" I sinabi angrily.
"Shut up!" The head of the ramen group said, placing duck-tape on my mouth as well. "Bag and tag'em!"
I watched as Jake was pushed out the door first, and then I was pushed next. I saw everyone else on the ground: hands tied behind them, mouths taped shut.
"Nice going!" Zo shouted just before duck-tape sealed her mouth shut. I have a feeling she'll never forgive me for this. I looked into the eyes of hate as I was pushed passed the others. They all felt hurt, scared, and I could tell that the way they looked at me, they felt sad that we were caught, mad that we were caught, and scared that we were gonna' die!
I was pulled up the stone stairs, and just as I saw a black van in front of the shelter's grounds, I felt something heavy crack the back of my head, making me fall to the ground. Along the side of a knocked out Jake...

"Your'e not dead!" A voice boomed. "If that's what your thinking."
"Ow!" I said, rubbing my head. "Where am I?"
"The Bounty Dome!" The voice continued.
"What's The Bounty Dome?" I asked.
"Its a huge room where they place Bounty until the susunod araw starts, then they throw you on the Burnt Bounty Pile. Or they lure information out of you, throw you back into the game with your mind erased, tortured, or killed!" The voice answered.
"Who are you?" I asked too afraid to open my eyes.
"Kyle. I was brought here...well I don't exactly know when I was brought here...but it's okay to open your eyes. It's just a dark dome. People can see us, but we can't see them. And only four lights shine into this place, all hung down sa pamamagitan ng a wire that has four cameras on them. The cameras observe our each and every move. We are aloud to walk around, talk, do whatever, but we can't leave unless were either being spit back out into the game, killed, or onto the Burnt Bounty Pile."
"Who else is here, Kyle?" I said, slowly sitting up right.
"Everyone that was brought in with you. That's it. My friends..." He paused. "Didn't make it."
"I'm sorry." I replied, not knowing when to open my eyes.
"It's okay, the Ramens will get theres...some day." Kyle answered and I heard a familiar voice moan.
"Where the hell am I?" Jake.
"JAKE!" I said, eyes flashing open. I looked around the room and saw other limp bodies: Sam, Rick, Zo, Stan, Bobby, and Derek. I saw two other people consious: Kyle and Jake. I got to my feet and ran towards Jake, skidding to his side on my knees. "You okay?"
"No! But I'll be fine." He sat up, rubbing his head as did I. "Where are we?"
"Kyle, or I, will explain when the others wake up!" I replied.
"How'd be get caught?" Jake asked.
"Don't know, I'll ask when the others are okay and awake."
"Funny thing about the Bounty Dome..." Kyle sinabi randomly. "They just seem to poof into the room as if there is not a door in sight! But there is cause I can smeel the dirt, leaves, trees, grass...and fear in the air when Ramens enter."
I looked at Kyle who was staring around the room. He was in a metal chair, had glasses on, had a freckeled face, wore a red jakcet with mud streak staines all over it, and was wearing sweats. The dyaket and sweats were too short cause when he got up to walk around, they were still hi-waters. And everytime he moved his dyaket would reveal his stomach. He's obviously been handed old clothes that didn't fit him, or he's grown really fast, or he's been here for a while.
"What are you doing?" Jake asked as we watched Kyle touch the walls and whispering words too low to hear, as if the walls and him were conversing amongst themselves.
"The walls," Kyle began. "Are telling me that the Ramens will arive right as the final person in this room awakes from there 'deep sleep'." Kyle finished, putting the air mga panipi on the words DEEP SLEEP.
I sat sa pamamagitan ng Jake, staring up at the visible cameras. Every five minutos or so another person would wake and when they'd ask WHERE ARE WE, they would ignore Jake and my sagot and only listen to Kyle's or another person's answers. I didn't blame them, we spent most of the time we had to run-for-cover training and getting caught! It was my fault, and now we are gonna die!
"You okay?" Jake asked me.
"Yeah, I'm fine....It's just...I let us down," I sinabi looking at him. "We are gonna die, and its my fault."
"That's right! It is your fault!" Zo said, walking towards me, hand crossed across her chest. "I told you! I told us all that we should pack up and get out of here but no! Look what you pulled us into Hayley! Was this your plan all along? Are you, Jake, and Derek some sort of spies for the Ramen?"
"That's enough, Zo!" Rick said.
"Don't tell me that's enough, Rick!" Zo snapped. "They deserve this since they brought us to our deaths!" Zo turned around, looking at everyone. "Are we not dead!? Do you think the Ramens will say, 'hey, you can go live normal lives now that we caught you! Good job! Here's a ginto star!' Do you think they'll say that? Huh!? I sure as hell know they won't."
"Zo?" Jake sinabi and Zo laughed.
"You don't have room to talk, Jake! Weren't you the one who was sa pamamagitan ng my side on this until pag-ibig made you blind!? Aren't you the one who told me that bad things are gonna happen? You shouldn't be surprised!" Zo explained.
"What? When did you say that?" I asked Jake. "I dont remember you saying that."
"It was when you were taking a shower, she was done before you, came to see if I was okay, and while I was unconsious, I had a vision."
"About?" Derek said.
"This. Well not here, first three people would die. We'd run, get lost. Derek, Hayley, and I would end up where we started: alone, frightened. And then the Ramens would pick us off one sa pamamagitan ng one. And here we are, the Bounty Dome! tahanan of the Bounty who are dead once one foot is taken in here!" Jake answered.
"So sorry this must hurt," Zo sinabi mocking a 'Boo-Hoo' face. "But life isn't as grand as you may have thought it was when a child! If life was as grand as we all thought, we'd be living in clouds. Gumdrops instead of rain, tsokolate rivers, a world like Willy Wonka's tsokolate Factory."
"Okay," Sam said, rising to her feet.
"Sam, don't." Stan warned, grabbing her arm.
"Let go, I need to stand up for Hayley some!" Sam's arm was released, and she marched up into Zo's face. "Listen here, we may not be in a world that we expected, or living lives that we wanted to...but at least were here. Alive! Dying as champions instead of losers. Your life here may not of been oh so good, well boo-hoo! Wah-wah! Cry yourself a damn river! Hayley's plan may not have worked as she thought it would, but at least were not running like cowards. We should be proud cause we stood up against the Ramens, ready to fight and or kill in defense of our own lives!" Sam turned to face me and smiled. "I think I've done my share here." She walked over sa pamamagitan ng Jake and I, and sat down right susunod to us.
"Nice story, too bad I don't care!" Zo added and walked straight up to Sam and punched her right in the jaw. Sam fell to her right side, placing her hand on her cheek at once.
"ZO!" Rick and Stan sinabi in unison, jumping to their feet and sa pamamagitan ng her side at once. "What was that for!?"
"She was pissing me off!" Zo sinabi and walked away from us, followed sa pamamagitan ng Rick.
Stan stayed, helping Sam to her feet. "No," Sam said. "We gotta' stay here."
"Alright," Stan then sat sa pamamagitan ng Sam who sat sa pamamagitan ng Jake and I. Stan held Sam in his arms till she fell asleep, but not for long. Bobby then just woke up, and just as we finished explaining, four Ramens stepped inside the room.
"Stay where you are!" One announced. "And nothing bad will happen."
"Yet!" Bobby added.
"Watch it!" Another ramen warned.
"We need four of you. Stan, Sam, Rick and Zo. Come with us please." The ramen continued.
"Bite me!" Sam sinabi and the ramen was sa pamamagitan ng her side at once.
"Oh don't think I won't sweety! I pag-ibig the taste of blood on my tongue. Don't tempt me." The ramen threatened and Sam shivered.
"So what are you, then?" I asked.
"Hayley! Shh!" Jake whispered.
"I have a right to ask questions." I looked back at the ramen who was standing in front of me now.
"We are not human I can assure you."
"Well duh!" I sinabi and he chuckeled loudly.
"We are vampyres! We live on the blood, the fear, and the adrenaline rush that runs through your veins."
"Blah, blah, bity blah! We get it, you're creatures of the night. Are we done?" I said, and the Ramen's face went from calm to furious.
"You bitch!" He bellowed.
"Oh, I dont think so! You see lay a finger on her, you lay a finger on all of us. Four against nine, not a good sign!" Jake said, standing up now.
I joined him then. So did Sam, Stan, Rick, and all the others. Except for Kyle who just kept walking around the room, conversing with the walls.
"Backup anyone?" The ramen asked as if we didn't know what he meant sa pamamagitan ng that word.
"Too late for that!" Rick sinabi and just as the ramen turned to face him, a face planted into the Ramens jaw, sending him down to the ground.
"GET THEM!" A different ramen sa pamamagitan ng the door howled.
One charged Zo, Rick, Kyle, and Bobby, as another went after Derek, Sam and Stan, while the last came after Jake and I. I dodged the first punch, and kicked him in the side. Jake then kicked the ramen in the chest, sending him into the dome's wall. We then charged him, and he duck-and-rolled under us. He then grabbed Jake sa pamamagitan ng the shoulders, slamming him into the pader with much strength. Jake then fell to the ground knocked out.
"JAKE!" I yelled and the ramen turned, and came after me.
I dodged the susunod few blows: three kicks and two punches. But he almost got me with a kick and a punch. I then grabbed the arm of the ramen and twisted it around him, sending him to the wall, pinning him against it. I then grabbed his neck in one matulin movement, and spun it around. A huge crack filled the air making the other two Ramens madami angry. Their strength and skill to dodge our blows were outstanding! They were quick, but somehow we were quicker!
"Sam!" Stan yelled, charging a ramen to the ground, knocking the other one to the side.
I looked around for Jake, but his body was gone. I couldn't find him-his body. Surely it was somewhere! I made sure I was out of the way, and just as I saw Jake's foot, I was pulled to the ground sa pamamagitan ng the head of the ramen group.
I landed on the ground hard, my ankle and side throbbing with pain. I turned to look where he was, and I noticed that his face was still normal but just red with anger. I looked back towards Jake, wondering if I'd excape this. I looked back at the Ramen, kicking and struggeling to break free, only relatching his grip even tighter! I looked back at Jake as I was being pulled through the crowd. I watched as I passed Zo, Rick, Sam, Stan, Bobby, and all the others.
"SAM!" I yelled and she gave a ramen a punch, looked at me, and leapt to rescue me, eyes wide.
"I got you!" She said, grabbing onto my wrists.
"Don't let go." I sinabi and we were both being pulled on the floor through the door.
Sam pushed her legs outwards, and we were stopped momentarily sa pamamagitan ng her catching the pader with her feet. She held on tight, too. I watched the people behind her, ready to tell her if someone was coming up behind her to kill her or to stop her from rescuing me.
"Let. Go. You. Silly. Little girl!" The ramen sinabi through gritted teeth.
"Make. Me!" Sam sinabi back, which made the ramen pull harder.
Then we were let go. The ramen was gone...or so we thought. He walked up over my head, grabbed Sam sa pamamagitan ng the hair, pulling her to her feet and throwing her into a tree. I jumped to my feet, tripping the ramen who fell, hitting his head on a rock sa pamamagitan ng sheer dumb luck! Blood trickeled down around his head.
"Nice work." Sam sinabi breathless, rubbing her head.
"You too!" I breathed, and Stan was at our feet.
"I'm gonna' kill you!" A ramen sang as he sauntered towards Stan, dagger in hand.
"Not likly!" Sam said, tackeling him to the ground. I grabbed Stan's hand, pulling him to his feet. He then nodded thanks, and helped Sam to kill the Ramen.
"We gotta go!" Zo cried, running out of the Dome. "There will be madami soon! I can feel it!"
Sam raised the dagger she estola from the Ramen, and stuck it hard into his gut. The ramen yelped out a quick cry of pain, and they watched as Rick ran out of the Dome after Zo.
"ZO!" He'd cry, and they ran off into a trail and were out of sight.
"DONT GO TOO...far." I tried to say, but they were long gone.
I turned just in time to see the fourth ramen thrown to the ground sa pamamagitan ng Bobby, kneeing the ramen in the kneck. A crack filled the air again, and the fourth and final ramen was dead.
We, Sam, Stan, Bobby and I, walked back into the Dome.
"We need to go." Sam spoke first, I was too dumbfounded to say anything. "More will be coming, and if we dont go now were dead for sure!"
"Let's go!" Derek said, grabbing me sa pamamagitan ng the arm. He was trying to pull me along with him, but I stayed put.
"Where is Jake?" I asked and a figure rose in the background.
"Okay...that hurt!" He turned to see the bloody mess that happened when he was knocked out. "How the hell...?" He began, but I grabbed his wrist and yanked him to follow us.
"We need to move!" Derek said.
"But where?" Stan asked.
"The cave!" I whispered.
"What?" Everyone asked. "Speak up!"
"Just follow Jake and I," I looked at Jake who nodded, rubbed his head, and off we went towards the Cave where the dead mga manliligaw lay.

Then we were let go. The ramen was gone...or so we thought. He walked up over my head, grabbed Sam sa pamamagitan ng the hair, pulling her to her feet and throwing her into a tree. I jumped to my feet, tripping the ramen who fell, hitting his head on a rock sa pamamagitan ng sheer dumb luck! Blood trickeled down around his head.
"Nice work." Sam sinabi breathless, rubbing her head.
"You too!" I breathed, and Stan was at our feet.
"I'm gonna' kill you!" A ramen sang as he sauntered towards Stan, dagger in hand.
"Not likly!" Sam said, tackeling him to the ground. I grabbed Stan's hand, pulling him to his feet. He then nodded thanks, and helped Sam to kill the Ramen.
"We gotta go!" Zo cried, running out of the Dome. "There will be madami soon! I can feel it!"
Sam raised the dagger she estola from the Ramen, and stuck it hard into his gut. The ramen yelped out a quick cry of pain, and they watched as Rick ran out of the Dome after Zo.
"ZO!" He'd cry, and they ran off into a trail and were out of sight.
"DONT GO TOO...far." I tried to say, but they were long gone.
I turned just in time to see the fourth ramen thrown to the ground sa pamamagitan ng Bobby, kneeing the ramen in the kneck. A crack filled the air again, and the fourth and final ramen was dead.
We, Sam, Stan, Bobby and I, walked back into the Dome.
"We need to go." Sam spoke first, I was too dumbfounded to say anything. "More will be coming, and if we dont go now were dead for sure!"
"Let's go!" Derek said, grabbing me sa pamamagitan ng the arm. He was trying to pull me along with him, but I stayed put.
"Where is Jake?" I asked and a figure rose in the background.
"Okay...that hurt!" He turned to see the bloody mess that happened when he was knocked out. "How the hell...?" He began, but I grabbed his wrist and yanked him to follow us.
"We need to move!" Derek said.
"But where?" Stan asked.
"The cave!" I whispered.
"What?" Everyone asked. "Speak up!"
"Just follow Jake and I," I looked at Jake who nodded, rubbed his head, and off we went towards the Cave where the dead mga manliligaw lay.
