Concerned about the Eclipse Script? *Spoiler Free*

Okay, so as you may have heard, the eclipse script has been leaked. If you haven't heard or seen the forum, here's the link. link

This will be a SPOILER FREE article. I won't talk about what is in the script. I won't talk about any scenes, just the basics. No specifics. But, those who have read it and are worried, this is kind of important.

I will say that I don't like it. It hardly conveys what Eclipse is about and how Edward and Bella feel about each other. The plot is the same, but Bella and Edward's relationship isn't explained at all. Plus, there ar inconsistencies from the books to the script. See? NO SPECIFICS. No minor spoilers.

But, I will also say that this is a DRAFT! I have to be honest. I am VER WORRIED after pagbaba this draft. I have read it several times and I continue to worry.

In late July of 2009, Rob, Kristen, several members of the cast and Chris Weitz (director) were at Comic Con in San Diego. During the Press Conference, a reporter asked Rob about Eclipse and the script. This was before they filmed Eclipse in August to October.

Rob replied that he had read the script, but he was very "argumentative" with it.

Now, this draft that leaked, is from July 14th, 2009. So, I'm suspecting, this is the draft Rob had read that he didn't particularly agree with.

When completing a script, it has a process. Long story short:
-Start
-Finish draft
-Revise draft
-Complete script

During the revising, it has different stages. It gets confusing, so please, bare with me.

There is about 15-20 different stages. This DRAFT that was leaked, is on stage 2 of the revising. So, it still had 13 or madami chances to be revised.

Knowing this, we know that there will be changes from this draft in the movie. For those who didn't like it, and who are worried, like me, there is still ~hope. LOL.

Comments are nice. This was an attempt to inform those who have read it that is one of the first drafts, so it's bound to change in some way.

Oh god, I hope a lot is changed. It doesn't sound they've portrayed either E/B or J/B well. WE pay you Summit so give ALL of us the goods! I think I'm gonna have nightmares after this script. Someone hold me. xD

mandapanda ^^LOL. I know he liks Jacob. haha. and I freaking love that boy too! If B/E were portrayed correctly, then it would be fair that B/J was too. But the point is, B/E haven't been portrayed in the first two movies, when New Moon established B/J's relationship rather nicely. In the script, B/J still have a relationship, and has yet to expand on B/E's relationship. So... it's bad. lol I'll hold you haha not in a creepy way. bahaha!

katiecain LOL. Yeah, I'd agree with you there. I don't like Twilight because it is so blooming rushed, there was none of the key bonding scenes (which actually happen to be some of my fave E/B scenes *gasp*). Was rushed in NM too, though I didn't notice as much because you know, I was focussed on a different 2 people xD but my sister wasn't impressed with last E/B scenes.

mandapanda ^^lol i'm sure you were. ;P so hopefully, lots of changes were made. The one thing Summit does know, is that Rob and Kristen know their stuff. And, if the MAIN actor complained about it, then they have to do something about it. lol

Since the Twilight movie came out, There has been a fued between Jacob and Edward. "Jacob's better! "Edward's better! Is all I hear all araw sa pamamagitan ng furious teenagers. Well, take a look at this, a fight between me and my BFF.
"JACOB'S BETTER THAN A PASTY, PALE VAMPIRE!!" "eDWARD DOESN'T HOWL!" It was just terrible. It ended very ugly with her ripping Jacob posters off my pader and me ripping her Edward shirt. After she left, I realized that they're just two people, just like everyone else. We should respect other people's likes and dislikes and we can have friends. I've seen so many friendships get ripped apart because of this. So here's a valuable lesson, "Respect Others Likes and Dislikes And Everyone Wll Be Friends" So the susunod time you see two people fighting over Twilight, tell them this important lesson, and friendships will stop getting teared apart.
