We got into Jerek's car, and he started back to his hous or headquarters, wherever Jerek was taking us too.
"So, do you have the symbol of the Death Clan on you?" I asked Jerek. Tabra was laying in the back, and Jerek and I were in the front.
"Yea, I do. I regret seeing it everyday, I regret what I did the little time I was there. But I do."
"Have you forgiven yourself?"
"Not fully." He said, looked at me, flashed another smile, and looked back at the road.
A few minutos of silence went by, and Tabra fell asleep.
"He sleeping?" Jerek asked.
"Yea." I sinabi in a quieter tone then normal.
Another few minutos of silence.
"Wanna see it?" Jerek asked.
"See what?"
"The mark."
"Oh..." Hmm...should I? Yes, I should! "Sure."
Jerek parted the black jacket, took it off, and then raised his sando to his neck. The tattoo was on his left pec.
"I hate this thing, but it seems that every tattoo parlor can't take this damn thing off."
"You've tried to remove it?"
"Yea," He sounded surprised sa pamamagitan ng my words. "Wouldn't you? A mark that reminds you everyday of what you've done, even after the fact that you have quit....It's torture."
"I bet. I'm sorry."
Jerek pulled into his driveway, pulled his sando back down, and put the dyaket back on. "Don't be."
Jerek got out of the car, and opened my door.
We woke Tabra up, and then went into Jerek's headquarters/house.
