The Twilight saga keeps going and going and....

"A lot of the book takes place in Italy, and I think we're going to get to go to Italy-- which is so cool," Stewart, 18, says. "For a while there they were like 'Oh we don't know if we have the money,' but uh, now I think we may have the money," she laughed.
Twilight smashed box office expectations, raking in madami than $7 million during its opening weekend. Kristen says she understands fans who are going to see the movie over and over again, and their obsession with the film's heroine Bella Swan.
"It's oddly engaging. I mean you read the book and you feel like you are the character," she says. "It's a totally vicarious experience. She's [Bella] such a good strong female character. I can understand why girls put themselves in her position."
Of her leading man, Robert Pattinson, Kristen says she knew immediately that he was the one to play the gorgeous and mysterious Edward.
"Everyone came in during the auditions and it was, like, so obvious they were thinking, 'Am I posing the right way?' He was thinking about madami than that. It was like he knew what it would be like to be a 108-year-old vampire living alone."
She adds, "It's a pretty serious role. On the surface it's like, 'Oh yeah! you're playing the hottest vampire ever!' But it's a lot madami than that."
But Kristen says don't be fooled sa pamamagitan ng R-Patts well-tuned sense of humility!
Of comments Pattinson, 22, has made saying he doesn't know how to halik or act, Kristen retorts, "I don't know why he does that! He gets a kick out of that," she laughs. "He tries to do that..It's totally contrived and intentional! He's done so much press I think he' s just taking the piss now--to use an English expression!"

According to Twilighters Italia & Lion Lamb:
New Moon will not be shot in Volterra but in Montepulciano
Despite advertisements, anticipations and every kind of proposal from the major and the township, New Moon will be shot in Montepulciano because the locations are "more beautiful for the movie" than Volterra."
And, they were nice enough to post pictures of possible locations in Montepulciano. Although the movie may not be filmed in Volterra, these locations look accurate to the descriptions in the book.

Let me start off sa pamamagitan ng saying that I think Dakota Fanning is a fabulous actress. That being sinabi here are my reason why I don't think she would make the best Jane. Their are a bunch a little problems and one big problem with her playing Jane. The big problem for me is her age. Dakota Fanning was born on Febuary 23 1994. That would put her at 15 years old when she starts filming in March. Thats only 4 years younger the Kristen(Bella) who was born in 1990 and only 2 years younger the Taylor(jacob) who was born in 1992. Jane is ONLY surpost be 12-13 years old and NO WHERE near Bella's age.
It has hired "Twilight" scribe Melissa Rosenberg, a writer/producer on Showtime's "Dexter," to adapt the first two. "Breaking Dawn," has not attached a writer.
While this does NOT confirm that the rest of the books will be turned into movies, this is certainly very good news for the franchise. We'll keep you updated!
UPDATE: Robert Pattinson has a few comments about New Moon that he made to the Chicago Tribune:
A sequel [aka New Moon] may get the green light this month, he said.
"They will literally decide the susunod araw or the araw after" once the movie opens, Pattinson said. "I think they only have plans to do the segundo one. There's no script for the third one. The script is already done for the segundo one."
