Chapter 19
Ivan opened his eyes a little and then a little madami until he opened ham all the way.
“nessie?” he sinabi quietly. He remembers me. I looked at him and he had a smile on his face and then I tried to put up a smile too but I failed miserably.
“ivan , how did u get in an accident?” I asked him. Eager to know.
“when I left the reservation I was driving back tahanan but then I remembered your face how you looked at me before you left so I turned around and started driving back to the reservation but then a car came out of nowhere and that’s all I remember” he told me.
“the good this is that you’re alright and that you remember me” I told him. He tried to sit up.
“ivan no its too early to sit up right now “ I told him.
“nessie im fine” he lied. And I knew he was laughing. Because he was easy to read some of the time.
“ivan you’re easy to erad don’t forget that and don’t lie to me please” I told him.
“k” he looked at a clock at the pader “nessie aren’t you going to school today?” he asked me.
“no im staying with you” I told him.
“nessie im ok your grandfather is looking after me” he assured me. I ouldnt doubt my grandfather .
“okay, ill come after school” I told him.
“okay” he tld me. I got up and headed for the door.
“no kiss?’ he asked me.
“I don’t know u should deserve one” I told him and came to him and gave him a kiss. . I walked out of the hospital and rnback to jakes house.when I got there jake was getting reay for school I guess he didn’t notice that ii wasn’t in the house. So I came through the window. I ot the note and through it in the garbage. I looked at my watch and noticed I got 30 minutess to dress so I had to hurry. I went to one of my bags and got out an outfit. It was a mini skirt, and a blue shirt.. it was going to be my first araw at the la push shool.i didn’t know what t expect. Wolfs running around, or people drinking tsaa everywhere. I thought my mother and about what she would say to me if it was my first araw in forks high. And all I came up with was ‘ remember nessie don’t cheat in classe , behave, and get all A’s’ but that only what I thought I really wanted to hear that from her, not from my mind. I got dressed put some make-up on and did my hair. I got out of Jakes room, and Jake Embry, Seth, paul, and quil were already waiting for me.
“wow” paul said.
“hot..” embry said. and the other one’s were speechless. But the outfit was just something I found on tuktok of my bag but I liked it too actually.
“sorry I had you waiting” I told them, then I got out of the house, but they still stood there.
“coming or do you want to be late?” I asked them. Then they all started walking.
“just to tell you almost none of the girls dress like that there”seth tol me.
“and you couldn’t tell me earlier?” I asked seth.
“ima go and change then” I told them and turned back to jakes house.
“no no no” we’re going to be late” quil told me. So I just turned around and we went to school.
“you don’t have a backpach” embry told me in a cool voice.
“ I don’t know wat to get ffor school” I told him without looking at him, still remembering yesterday.. he didn’t look at me neither. Seth looked at both od us. And then let out a sin.
“wats wrong with you too?” seth asked us.’ I looked at seth and then at Embry and didn’t say a word. We were walking in an akward silence all the way to school. When we reached the school, everyone was tan except me. Everyone was wearing regular clothes like a t-shirt and a pair of pants or shorts. Then I saw three girls wearing everything bright, were walking and everyone was getting out of thee way.
“pletell me those aren’t some popular girls that pag-ibig to ipakita off” I begged the guys.
“sorry we can’t these three girls rule the whole school, they have their own rules, and everything, so no one wats to get in their way” paul told me. Then when Ithe girls were walking through the hallwall a girl didn’t have time to ilipat out of there way, so they pushed her out and she just slammed into the lockers.
“oh no they didn’t” I said. and started running toward the girl.
“nessie don’t….” jake started.it was very difficult for me to runin my mini palda and in high heels. I ran to the girl and gave her my hand.. she looked at me in fear.
“hey you what do you think youre doing?” one of the girls asked me in a tough vice.
“what do you think im doing?” I asked her back.
“im the one asking tanong here got it?” she asked me.
“no actually you’re not going to ask me anything because I don’t feel like answering” I told her back. There were ooo’s and ahh’s all around, there were to many people around us already. But I had to protect this girl so I got inside myself and gor up.
“you might be new, let me tell you the rules, first never speak back, segundo don’t you dare pretend you’re all that when you’re just a piece of trash when I can just throw you out, thirt of all-“ I cut her off.
“ yeah, um the thing is im not going to be following ur fules and the other is yu don’t rule anyone over here” I told her and got into her face.

“and what? Are you going to run to the principal and cry?’ I asked her.
“hmm” she sinabi and turned around and left with the two other girls.. I picked up the girl.
“you really didn’t have to do that. They’ll give revenge you know thatright?” she asked me.
“I don’t care, they wont rule the school” I told her. Wow this is my segundo school that I invaded. Tigh. I guy came from behind me and hit my ass.
“you’re a tight one” he said. I turned to him slowly and angerly.
“don’t ever do that again” I told him.
“we haven’t met im ryan” he said.
“well ryan, I already have a boyfriend, nice talking” I told him and turned back to the poor girl.
“so whats your name?” I asked her.
“Kelly” she said.
“oh Kelly im really sorry they did that to you” I told her with an apologetic look on my face.
“im used to it” she told me. She was used to it? I asked myself. Wow those three girls were like queens in here. I saw jake call me.
“I’ll take to you later k?” I asked her. She nodded and I ran to jake and the other boys. I heard so many things like: ‘she’s so hot’ , ‘ how could she stand up to the Gilmore sisters’, and ‘ who is she?’. Jake was standing there with a mad and a happy face.
“what?” I asked him.
“what was that?” he asked me.
“nothing” I sinabi guilty as a thief. I smiled at the school and all the guys looked at me with a smile. I laughed. The sound of my laughmade jake smile and I was happy. I was happy making people happy. We walked to the maid office to get my schedule.
“nessie, just don’t get Nawawala around the school” jake told me. And I laughed.
“me, a wizard getting lost?” I asked him with laughter in my voice. .
“and nessie no magic ok?” jake told me.
“but-“ I started and he cut me off.

“ok” I told him with a grumpy face and I went to my first period class which was history. I was good at history, because my grandfather kept telliingme about every little thing in the past. I came in the class and saw ryan sitting there.great I sinabi to myself, and he smiled. I came to the teacher and she looked at me with a weird look.
“may I have your attention” she called the class.
“this is renesme carlie Cullen” she introduced me .
“go find a upuan somewhere” she told me quietly in a polite voice. I nodded and went to find a seat, but there was only one upuan impty. And it was sa pamamagitan ng ryan. I sat in that seat, and ryan looked at me.
“what?” I asked him.
“your hot” he said.
“just keep your hands in your pockets” I warned him. I lurned toward the teacher, but he was still looking toward me. I was not happy that none of my guy mga kaibigan had this class with me. The teacher was talking and talking about the history then she gave us a test. I read the tanong and they were soo easy. It look me 15 minutos to finish 20 questions. And I gave the paper to the teacher. I sat there waiting for the class to finish and then I got out my skechpad and started sketching. I sketched a lobo and a girl, a lobo was laying and a girl was sitting sa pamamagitan ng the wolf. . and I looked around only 2 madami people finished. Dang it taked them so long to finish. When I finished sketching that picture, I sketched one more. It was my mother, standing, with my father. It looked like a realislic picture. The teacher came up to me and looked at my sketches.
“you sketch really good renessme” she nagkomento me.
“thank you” I told her. She looked at the one with a lobo and a girl.
“may I put this on the wall? Since its so beautiful” she askedme. I nodded she took the picture and put it on the pader sa pamamagitan ng her dest. She wrote on the bottom of the sketch. ‘ sa pamamagitan ng renesme cullen’. I was sketching until Ryan put his hand on my leg. I looked at him.
“what did I say about keeping your hands in your pockets?” I asked him and took his hand off.
“I don’t remember do you mind telling me again?” he asked me and was heading for a kiss. I slapped his face. Not really hard though. Then I returned to sketching. I closed my eyes and let my instincts take over.i opened my eyes after 5 minutos and looked at the picture. It was me, Ivan , and a baby girl. I looked at it carefully. And then I thought I’ll look at it at jakes’ house. I put away the sketch pad and kept on waiting. How long does it take them to finish, I rashed my hand.
“yes?” the teacher asked me.
“can I step out for a minute?” I asked her she nodded. I got my phone the picture and went out. I dialed my aunt alice’s number.
“ uy nessie wats wrong?” she asked me.
“aunt alice, you know how I usually let my instincs take over when im drawing and I always draw pictures that come true?” I asked her.
‘yes nessie” she told me this time with a worried voice.
“when I let my instincts take over just now. I drew a picture of me, ivan and a baby girl , I don’t know hwat it means though” I told her. There was a pause for a minuto or two.
“aunt alice?” I asked.
“nessie how do you feel?” she asked me.
“I feel ok. Why?” I asked her.
‘ nessie you might be pregnant” she told me. I stood there in shock.
“that’s impossible, me and ivan didn’t do anything that risky. That’s impossible” I told her.
“nessie when you some tahanan from school call me and ill come” she told me.
“aunt alice im going to Ivan in the hospital today fter shool…. How about you meet me there?” I asked her.
“ok” she told me. And I walked back into the class.
“are you ok renesme?” the teacher asked me.’ I nodded in silence. I walked to my dest an d put everything back into my backpack. Class ended couple minutos later. I walked out of the class and went to my susunod class which was arts. I was lad because arts was my favorite. I walked into the class and jake and embry were sitting there. I smiled and then ryan walked in. so I walked to the teacher quickly. She didn’t introduce me sje just told me to go sit sa pamamagitan ng embry. I went and sat sa pamamagitan ng him jake was sitting on my right. I smiled at him.
“so nessie what about drawing something cool?” jake told me.
“I’d pag-ibig to” I told him with a happy voice. Class began and the teacher told everyone to draw what they feel like. Embry drew stick figures. I had to laugh at them. Jake drew some ancient art. I drew a lobo in the woods. And showed it to jake.
“ahh is that me?” he asked . I nodded. I turned the page and drew the whole lobo pack and me standing in a hot kulay-rosas dress. And showed it to jake again.
“oh and when am I ?” he asked me. I looked at the picture and realized that he’s not in there.
“oops I think I forgot you” I told him.
“ah that’s not cool nessie” he told me and I smiled. The teacher told all of us t stop what we’re doing because we had to go and hec our health. We walked out of the room and we went ito the gym. I sinabi my grandfather standing sa pamamagitan ng a dest with all kinds of medical things. Someone behind me put their hands on my eyes. I grabbed the hands and tok them off my eyes.
