Ok 1st of all, the nominees for Adrian Ivashkov, is all wrong. However, Ian Somerhalder is 100% perfect. I mean he already plays a baddass, arogant, clever & witty, plus a very sacarstic vampire, DAMIAN, on The Vampire Diaries. So, just Megan Fox has proven to be a sexy and very confident VAMP, on the movie Jennifer's Body, Ian Somerhalder has "likewise" on The Vampire Diaries. No one can argue that. But Cnanning Tatum. No way. Don't get me wrong, I am in love with Channing but he doesn't really fit the porfile for playing Adrian Ivashkov. Plus the way Adrian is described in the books, is exactly the look and style of Ian Somehalder. . . Whoever backs me up on this one, email, I wanna know the "great minds" who think alike.

I know that the VA series is considered Young Adult Fiction, but when I read some of these characters I read them more Adult. Im not saying the cast should be older but do any of you fans know how some people look older then are like they ve been thru life already. The late Heath ledger he was a young actor but he looked really manly but more importantly he could become a character. I just hope they put in decent actors who can act. I think anything worth doing is worth doing right and I hope they dont just throw in whoever the hottest teen star at the moment is just to do it. Like I think of dimitri as someone like Oliver Mantinez from Unfaithful. With a little more muscle and a few years younger. I think Hayden Christensen could be Adrain Rose and Lisa will be very hard tho. I don't see anyone on the radar for them.

Okay I don't really know about any of the above for Dimitri Belikov! But maybe Taylor Kitsch or Ben Barnes

I don't think that chace Crawford is suitable
for the role of Adrian cuz I've always visualized Adrian as someone with a lankier built as opposed to a bulky one.anyway,I hope they pick a suitable person to play Adrian (if they make a movie) cuz he's my fave character. But I also think that Megan fox will make a really good rose as she's really pretty and confident.

Well would it be unreasonable to cast some black people in this movie?

Sophia Bush is almost thirty. Someone younger and more edgy like Nikki Reed should play the role of Rose.

As far as Dimitri, Ben Barnes has nice eyes but is just too lanky. Dan Cudmore (over 6'5 and more filled out--look him up) would be perfect.

Rose: Leighton Meester - I pictured her from the start when I was reading it, I think she has that edge to her that Rose needs to have, and who can argue that she is gorgeous, I think she would be great, or possibly Ashley Greene, she seems like she could kick some ass if needed to.

Lissa: Teresa Palmer or Dianna Argon. For obvious reasons. They pretty much fit the descriptions. I also believe that Lissa needs to hold her own next to Rose, not Rose overpowering her. So either of them would be could match with the Roses I picked. Dream teams: Leighton Meester and Dianna Argon. Ashley Greene and Teresa Palmer.

Dimitri: With his description I immediately thought Joe Manganiello. I know a lot see Ben Barnes, sure he has the suave hair, but Dimitri needs to be super buff, and a lot older than Rose.

Christain: Gaspard Ulliel

Adrian: Taylor Kitsch - I haven't seen anyone post him as Adrian, and I don't understand why not. He is a great actor, and he so would own this role. The character Adrian needs to be able to give the character Dimitri a run for his money, lol

Abe: Johnny Depp - What character can't this guy play. I just imagined him when they said the character was like a snake.

Mason: Jamie Bell - I think he's perfect for the role because Mason is supposed to be someone who is cute but basically not cute enough.

Eddie: Josh Hutcherson - I couldn't figure out anyone to put for Eddie, then Josh Hutcherson name came to me, and I thought perfect. He could play this part with ease, and he's a total cutie.

Jesse: Mike Vogel - If I'm not mistaken he's blonde in the book and a hot guy. Well, Mike Vogel may be a little old, but maybe they can work something out. I can totally see him playin' a hot mean guy.

Mia: Anna Sophia Robb - There was never anybody else in my mind. She's perfect in every way. And she's a great actress.

Tasha: Anne Hathaway - I also like the Zooey Deschanel thing, but I just like her.
