I knew he loved her. and it's sweet he finally confessed to her. But really I think this kind of love between siblings is gross! And I don't hate them together just because they're siblings, it's mostly because I love Zuki!! Yuki... you really messed things up... Yuki will always belong with Zero in my heart!

I think it was just manipulative. He said that to distract her when she was starting to ask him questions about her past. Admittedly, he did have good reasons for trying to hide things, but it was still manipulative. Just like him. It's one of the main reasons I dislike his character.
