I agree with @debriana. Her mother's name is Matilin and she died after getting ill with some kind of Disease.She was a lover of music and she used to perform on stage.That's how Musa's dad met Matilin and fell in pag-ibig with her at first site.

In Season 2 episode 15 of winx club, 4Kids version, (Magic In My Heart), Musa explains to Layla/Aisha that she Nawawala her mother to an illness when she was a child.

Musa's mother's name was Matlin or Wa-nin. As mentioned in the 4kids episode Magic In My Heart, it was sinabi sa pamamagitan ng Musa that she passed away because of an illness. After her mother's death, Musa's father banned music from their home, scared that he would lose his daughter just as he Nawawala his late wife. Musa also says this in The araw Of The Rose.
