It bothers me because that is the main reason that people blindly jump to the conclusion that wolves are evil. :(

Depends really. If its makes for a good story like a horror story then its fine, because after all it is horror and wolves can he scary. But mostly in movies the wolf is involved in a horror movie which is suppose to make things scarier than they really are. They do it with humans too.

So does it make you mad that humans are made to be the bad guy in movies?

No because there is always a good human and a bad human. But, in most casses it's just a bad wolf. :(

But most. Most people HATE wolves because of the things people portray wolves as. Out of those many people, not many see the true side about wolves and I think it's very sad.

I think its very sad too, but the good out weights the bad these days. If you read up on it more people are becoming aware of the good wolves are bringing and there are more people working to help the wolves.

Yeah, it really annoys me, but in some cases, it's alright.

It wouldn't bother me if most of those stories weren't based on a traditional hate of wolves and if those stories didn't influence the way people perceive wolves. Unfortunately, many people think wolves are horrible murderous animals, who will kill anything they see. Their view of wolves is based more on fiction than science.

What's even worse about this is the traditional wolf hate is being used to try and eradicate them in various parts of America. At a time when we need the general public to have a better scientific understanding of wolves behavior, and to know just how important they are as a keystone species. It is extremely counterproductive to have movies coming out even today that depict wolves as evil.
