Does music help your write?

I came up with this really good book wich I'm Pagsulat now sa pamamagitan ng listening to music
So is it the same with any of you?

me too :) It's very inspiring, but can be distracting for sure, especially if you start to sing a long..

Not really. I listen to music to get ideas for my fanfics when I'm fresh out of ideas. But when I actually write, I need complete silence or else I get screwed up. I'll be meaning to write one word and it'll come out as another because I get distracted really easily.

Actually it does help. Music makes you see everything different. Sometimes, close your eyes and just listen to the music can make you imagine really great situatios. I have wrote a few stories under the persuasion of music

Well, sometimes. It depends on what i'm Pagsulat about. If it is sad or fighting, meaning action, then yes i'll need music but if it's not neither one of those 2 genres, then no. my story is 500.pages XS still going strong

Actually, no. The way I write means I have to throw myself into the story. Music with lyrics interferes with the story and finds its way in. Instrumental music helps, but it still is distracting. The human brain can only focus on one thing at a time.

Depends. Sometimes I play it when I've got writer's block, and it really helps. I also listen to get ideas while writing, but other times, I need complete silence to concentrate, if that makes any sense.

Yes. For me, it works best when the song doesn't have lyrics, although I tend to tune them out after a while. I would definitely say it helps and that I get a lot of ideas while listening to music.

I find silence creepy, so I get to distracted sa pamamagitan ng it to write. I always go on youtube and play a song, Once I get into Pagsulat I don't even realize the song has ended and it's silent again. So, when actually Pagsulat I just use it to get rid of silence for a little while, but I do listen to music to get ideas.
