Especially on the killing Shaw part...I mean how else did he expect to stop him? Plus, Erik has been proven right in the other movies too... On one hand it would be great for Charles' point of view to happen but time and time again, there's just to many cases when Erik was right about how humans would react and treat mutants. I mean, I do both get where both of them are coming from, but I just can't bring the thought of myself hurting people, let alone killing people and committing mass genocide.. Perhaps, perhaps if I have gone through what Erik went through, maybe I would change my mind. But for now, this is the case.
