When Nye awoke, he found himself in his kama with Jennifer sitting beside him, holding his hand. She looked at him relived.

"Oh thank God," she breathed out. Nye took his hand and pushed a piece of her long dark brown hair behind her ear. She smiled at him.

"Alright," he said, shifting his position in the bed, "I need to go find some answers."

A little later in the day, Nye was racking his brain, trying hard to remember what happened in his seen future. A man? No, a girl held the gun. Was her hair brown? Or maybe it was black. But there was definitely a gun in her hand, along with some blood. He was sitting in a chair, looking up at the ceiling in a small cafe. As he looked back at the door, Rene walked in, though it took him a minuto to realize it was her. Her hair was pulled into a hat with her bangs sticking out in front, she wore sunglasses, a large sweater, skinny jeans, and heeled boots. She pulled out the chair in front of him and sat down, slowly taking off her sunglasses.

'What do you want Nye, you know how dangerous it is for me to be seen in Gotham."

"I know Re-" She gave him a death glare, "I mean Charlotte. But I need your help. I had another vision, and its about my death." Rene's eyes looked up at his face, grabbing her attention.

"Tell me what happened."


After a half hour, Nye had told Rene what he saw and gave her a prutas manuntok box. She turned it down

"Sorry kiddo, I done with prutas punch. I'll just get us some coffee."

"No let me," he said, "It's the least I can do for making you come out here." The red head sighed and let him order as she checked her phone for messages. As Nye ordered, his head started to image what Rene might say. What if she can't help? What if she doesn't know it is? What if she does and she doesn't tell me? What if- His thoughts were interrupted sa pamamagitan ng the cashier handing him coffee. Nye silently took the coffee and went back to the table. Rene sat there, going through her messages. When she saw the coffee cup, the red head flashed him a smile and took a sip. Nye sat down across from her, his mind racing through what will happen.

"Nye," she said, holding her cup.

"Yes?"

"How long has it since the break up?"

"With who?"

You know who." He sighed. Amora.

"About seven months."

"And how long was it till you started dating Jen?"

"I don't know, about a week. What does that have to do with my death?" Rene smiled.

"You know." the red head whispered. She put on her sunglasses and got up, coffee in hand, and walked to the door. Nye started to stare at her before he could speak.

"Know what?"
