I could only stare in horror at the way the victim looked. I killed him with both poison and touch. I backed away as realization came to me of what I had done. I pulled my gloves back on without notice, and was abruptly pulled from my thoughts of the poor man laying before me.
I was roughly handcuffed, "Babylon, you are being charged with the multiple attempts and successes of murder in the 2nd degree."
I almost fainted, I was being charged for murder, and anyone charged...

It's late. So what? Deal with it.


“Are you okay mom?” Lexi asked.
Devin gave her a smile.
“Yes. I'm alright dear.”
Lexi sat in her mother's lap.
“What did daddy say?” Lexi asked, looking at the paper in her mother's hand.
“Daddy says he'll be tahanan soon. He has a leave of absence for a few weeks and he plans to come tahanan in a few days.”
“He'll miss Valentine's day. It's tomorrow, right?”
