uy both me and my mom were wondering-Why isn't Yuma taken over sa pamamagitan ng the Number Cards he uses?

We think it might have to do with Astral or the Key. but we aren't sure. PLEASE ANSWER! EVEN A GUESS WILL HELP! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

astrel absorbes the cards to gegane his memorys, therefore astrel pretty much keeps them from harming yuma. the downfall is yuma cannot use these cards. as for the few cards yuma owens astral pretty much blocks out. the power. the key might also block the possesive energy.
