The near death experience trope is really cliche but choosing between Kate and Humphrey, I think it worked better in Kate's favor just because it was so off guard. Humphrey's thing, you already knew it was coming just from how the music began to speed up.

When did Humphrey almost die?

I thought humphreys near death was with the gas station clerks,

My heart literally skipped a beat when I first saw that part. But what I've always wondered since then is what happened in the forest. I also feel like it should've had Humphrey come out of the forest limping and Kate helping him walk instead of them just walking out like everything's fine. But I really want to know what happened in there!!!

Also I was kinda surprised too, cause that was like a whole different side of Humphrey that we had never seen before. I know fatherly instincts had kicked in and he was protecting the pups but still that was just, woah.
