ladytammmy Dude it's like you read my freaking mind. I have had this theory since like forever something just gives me the feeling that we might be getting some back story on Gwen's mom. But mine's a little different from yours. I think we might be seeing maybe Gwen's aunt on her mother's side or something and it turned out that her aunt married a king but was a commoner. Gwen's mom fell in love with Tom while he was married to Elyan's mom ( idk maybe they might be half siblings) but she didn't want to break up the family therefore not really acting on their feelings, Elyan's mom dies or leaves and Gwen's mom finds out she's pregnant dies while giving birth to Gwen but Elyan is too young to understand so Tom raises them together without ever telling Gwen or Elyan the truth.(This would create a great story for Elyan too). The reason I think she might not be a noble is because Gwen said her mom served as a maid in Sir Leon's home (I noticed she said my mother not our maybe that's the writers choice). So if Gwen meets her aunt who is now a queen by marriage not only will this emulate Gwen's exact predicament if she were to marry Arthur so gives them something to talk about and a connection. And maybe her aunt wouldn't want her to have the same life of pressure and nobles criticizing her basically telling her what she went through as a commoner queen when she thought she married for love and the marriage turned out not to be a good thing for her. And Gwen will her to choose between her love for Arthur and listening to the advice of a family member who went through the same thing. Maybe am just a hopeful but it's about time we get some female interaction Gwen needs it. And they did cast a queen and Julian said she would be a good female role model so who knows.

AND WHAT IF HE DOESNT WANT HER TO FIND OUT ? i had that theory that her mother was igraine's maid so she knew about nimueh , therefore uther banished her and agravaine took care of gwen and made sure that she will become morgana's maid

ladytammmy Haha yeah two mm's were taken had to stick with three. But yeah she does need female interaction which is one of my biggest wishes for her outside of A/G. *crosses fingers*. Hope it happens.

Bonne-Bell We definelty need to know more about Gwen's past and what happened to her mother. But I kind of don't want Gwen to have noble blood because I like the idea of a commoner marrying into royalty, dealing with the stuck-up nobility and eventually winning the love, admiration and acceptance of the people because she's an awesome Queen.

HumbleQueen Ohhh. These were so interesting to read! I like the idea of finding out she has some connection with nobility. I did hear about a big female lead for one of the episodes so let's hope there is something about Gwen in that, even if it's just female company as Lorna says. They say she has some big story lines in the season and it's been mentioned that Elyan has some story lines too. So many reasons to look forward to the season. We're all having a hard time waiting!

Nasty_Nat Do you all remember episode 13 I think when Maorgana aske Gwen for help about convincing Sir Leon to be on her side. Gwen said her mom was Sir leon mom's maid. Great idea though.
