What happened to Kristoffs parents?

Some people sinabi that Kristoff's parents were froze to death. This is why he looked really depressed and upset when Anna was frozen. It wasn't the first time for him to see someone who is very important to him to froze to death.

“Kristoff’s parents were reindeer herders. One araw they got into an accident that killed them and Sven’s parents, orphaning both Kristoff and Sven who only had each other left.”

Good question! The movie doesn't actually say much about it I think. But I guess Kristoff is an orphan. :/ Like most of the other movies, his parents aren't mentioned much, but I guess they're not around anymore...

This is a good question. Kristoff told Anna that the trolls took him in, but didn't he have parents? Most likely, yes. His parents most likely died or moved away, leaving Sven behind for Kristoff and such. He probably had a relative in the beginning while working with the ice but they obviously weren't there in the other parts of the movie.

I have no idea but I would like to rule out that his parents froze to death. If that was true, Kristoff would have a sort of hatred or fear of ice or just cold weather, but in the movie he says, "Ice is my life."

Well I don't exactly know but I THINK that Kristoff was an orphan and those ice guys let him tag along,but they weren't his family because if you watched the movie you can see those trolls took him in. As you can see below I put a picture of his troll family.

Maybe they froze to death? That would be dramatic and sad :(

If you notice , the guy who holds up the lantern looks like Kristoff. I can't find a picture but if you watch it again and pause at the end of the ice man song when the guy is holding a lantern...He looks like Kristoff but with facial hair :) xx Still doesn't really explain but maybe they somehow Nawawala him when he was following...Doesn't explin why they didn't come looking for him x

Kristoff's father died sa pamamagitan ng falling into the ice. Then his mother dies of depression shortly after.

Kristoff and Sven got Nawawala in the woods and stumbled upon the king and trolls. Lady Troll decides to keep them.As we know Grand Pabbie demonstrated the ability to manipulate memories; he uses this ability with precision, able to leave Anna's snow experiences mostly intact merely sa pamamagitan ng replacing the snow generated sa pamamagitan ng Elsa with natural precipitation. Grand Pabbie manipulates Kristoff's memories and he forgets that he ever had parents at all and stays with his new family as it is the only one he knows at that stage. That's why he never mention his parents at all.

Well, since we know that magic is possible in this realm, and Kristoff is first introduced during the nagyelo puso sequence, when you throw in that he has a moose as his familiar, I suspect that Kristoff may be the son of an ice mage and a snow reyna with yet untapped magical capabilities of his own. He was sent to live with the pag-ibig trolls in order to guide him toward a loving disposition. This also makes him royalty in his own right!
