When tragedy strikes, how a family deals with the ordeal can make or break them forever.

The new indie film “Bring Me An Avocado” from writer/director Maria Mealla, explores how a family and close mga kaibigan deal with a mugging gone wrong that leaves a young mother in a coma.

It recently premiered at Cinequest, tying for the ‘Audience Award’ and earning praise for the performances. One of the stand-outs in the film is actress Molly Ratermann, who brought authenticity as the grieving but well intentioned sister who steps in to give the children a sense of normalcy.

Molly has been rising up...

In 2018, the classic Disney film Mary Poppins got a sequel called Mary Poppins Returns. I have such strong feelings on this film that I felt like sharing how I felt in a full review.

The Plot

The Banks family, a widowed dad and his three kids, are dealing with the loss of the mom of the house being gone and their house at risk of being taken away. Thankfully, Mary Poppins arrives and teaches the family how to deal with their family loss in a respectable and meaningful away. She, along with a lamplighter, helps the family with their mission of saving their house from the greedy Mr. Wilkins....

2018 had some really good films that are worth talking, so this listahan is about my personal paborito films of the year. Two honorable mentions go out to the direct to DVD animated film Batman: Gotham sa pamamagitan ng Gaslight and the Aardman film Early Man.

10. Sherlock Gnomes

Sherlock Gnomes is an animated sequel to 2011's Gnomeo and Juliet. I like the 2011 film, but I like this film more. That's thanks to Johnny Depp who shows off his voice pagganap skills as the pamagat character. The film also has my paborito actress, Emily Blunt. Hearing two of my paborito celebrities in the same film was a real treat. Also,...

The Last Airbender is a 2010 action film that was based on a beloved ipakita of the same name. The film got really bad reviews, but I actually really liked the film.

I only saw clips of the animated ipakita before watching the live action film so I'm judging this film sa pamamagitan ng itself instead of comparing it to the show. I still haven't watched any full episodes, but I did enough research to understand the plot and characters.

The film focuses on Aang who's the avatar. He's discovered sa pamamagitan ng a duo of siblings, Katara and Sokka, who become his friends. It's up to them to save the world from the evil apoy Nation....

THIS IS A REPOST OF AN artikulo THAT I ALREADY WROTE ON A DIFFERENT CLUB

This is a film that has been out for a while but I'm just now getting around to doing a full artikulo review of it because I've been really busy, stressed, and emotionally drained for a while and all of that has been keeping me from reviewing it. This musical was a big deal when the trailers came out and when the movie finally came out for various reasons. It was Zac Efron's first musical movie since his days in High School Musical and Hairspray, it had freaking Hugh Jackman who always draws in a crowd, it was a brand new...

New Yorkers pag-ibig a good pizza. It’s a classic taste of the city -- and so are the owners of the local pizzeria shops. But, what happens when you get a well-intentioned younger generation moving into the neighborhood and looking for a change?

This culture clash is the subject of the indie short film “The Kids Menu,” pitting a young mother (Nyle Lynn) on a mission to get a kids-friendly menu against a steadfast, traditional pizzeria owner ("Soprano's" paborito Vincent Pastore).

Directed sa pamamagitan ng Paul Borghese and penned sa pamamagitan ng Richard Vetere, the film has become a stand-out on the festival circuit,...

Expecting parents often worry about their unborn child and hope that their new baby will arrive happy and healthy.

Typically, they’re not worried about what color their newborn will be upon entering the world. But, that is exactly the complex situation presented in Will McFadden's new indie feature film, ‘Doubting Thomas,’ inspired sa pamamagitan ng true events.

White couple, Jen (Sarah Butler) and Tom (McFadden), are excited to welcome their new baby boy into the world, there's just one unexpected problem -- the boy is black. As suspicion is raised that family friend Ron (Jamie Hector) might be the...

There's a Teen Titans Go! film coming out called Teen Titans Go! to the Movies. A lot of people are dreading the film, but I think that tons of people should check out the film.

1. The Teen Titans will finally be on the big screen.

There have been some Teen Titans films. However those films were direct to DVD, not theatrical. Robin has been on the big screen various times and Cyborg was in the Justice League film, but this is Raven, Starfire, and Beast Boy's first theatrical film.

2. Slade will be the villain.

Slade is the Teen Titans' main villain and a recurring antagonist to Batman. He's become...

Batman Ninja is a 2018 Batman film. My review of the film is about the film's English dub.

The film is about Batman getting sent to Japan's past. He teams up with Catwoman and his regular helpers to stop the Joker. The Joker is being aided sa pamamagitan ng Gorilla Grodd, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, the Penguin, Poison Ivy, and Deathstroke. Batman realizes that the people of Japan's past consider Batman to be a prophecy hero so Batman tries to live up to the hype.

The film's plot is pretty interesting and unique. Although having a film that's about Batman and Joker's rivalry is very typical nearly every other...

Who doesn’t pag-ibig a good and scandalous book? Well, Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen definitely do as evidenced in their latest film “Book Club.”

Suicide Squad is a DC film that was directed sa pamamagitan ng David Ayer. The film has lots of fans, but the film was highly disliked sa pamamagitan ng critics. I personally think that the film is great. This artikulo is about discussing various things that the film did a great job at.

The first thing about the film that's worth noting is that it's such a unique film. A lot of films are about very morally responsible bayani or flawed people who eventually become great people. Although films like that can be heartwarming and inspiring I feel that there should be films that are entertainment instead of lessons. Suicide Squad...

Disney adaptations of classic stories are hardly faithful, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. But it is troubling when the company defines a story so much to the point that we forget the true spirit of it. In particular, The Jungle Book sa pamamagitan ng Ruyard Kipling is such a case.

Disney's 1967 animated classic is mostly remembered fondly, and I myself own it on Platinum Edition. While it is a shame that it couldn't be closer to the original story due to Disney himself finding it too dark for children, it's still a lighthearted, pleasant adventure with fun songs. In 2016, Disney released a live action...

Superman's one of the most popular superheroes ever made. Because of his popularity he has had eight live action films. Justice League is excluded, because Superman doesn't have a big enough role in that film for it to count.

8. Superman and the nunal Man

Although the first Christopher Reeve Superman is considered to be the first Superman this obscure film from the 1950s is Superman's first film. The film has George Reeves as Superman who also played Superman in a live action TV show. The film was made during a time period where it was really hard to make good superhero films so this film lacks...

pag-ibig can be blissful. But, it can also be complicated. In fact, it’s these complications that have made for some of the most interesting storylines in the movies. They’ve even coined their own genre – the romantic-comedy or rom-com.

The new indie feature film, “Toss It,” is taking things a step further sa pamamagitan ng showcasing a seriously entangled pag-ibig dilemma in a way that delivers it as an ‘anti-romantic comedy’ way. The film and its stars are quickly emerging fan-favs on the festival circuit, including rising actress Jenny Zerke. She steps into the story as Marie, a crazy best friend...

5. This film's versions of the bayani are well done.

I think that George Clooney's version of Batman actually works well. People have compared it to Adam West's Batman, but I think that it's good that there are things in common between them. Mr. Clooney has the same wholesome charm of Mr. West. Mr. Clooney's Batman took the silly stuff going...
