July 9, 1957. Three madami days to get Paul and John to meet. Which would hopefully happen today.
“Can’t believe you talked Dad into lettin’ us do this,” Paul laughed happily. “You’re something special, Gloria.”
I beamed with pleasure. It was the susunod morning, and we were riding on a bus down to Windsor, since Paul was at least able to buy us bus fare if not train tickets. The bus bumped and shuddered along something awful, but I could deal with it, because Paul had his arm around me.
Then Paul looked at me, and sa pamamagitan ng this point, I recognized the curious light in his eyes. “Paul....”...

John looked up at George, half-wondering if he'd misheard him in his sleepy state. "You want what?" he said. "You're daft."
"Please?" George smiled eagerly; it was one of those rare times when he really looked like the youngest. "I've never been to the future before!"
"You don't want to go to the future," John reminded him. "I've told you." He pulled the blankets over his head again and closed his eyes, wanting to go back to sleep. A segundo later, George pulled them off again.
John blinked at George in an annoyed, won't-you-ever-let-me-go-back-to-sleep kind of way.
"Why don't you go yourself?"
"I...

February 7, 1964.

The Beatles were riding down the streets of New York, freshly arrived from the airport. Just months ago, this country hadn't even known they existed, and now, they'd been greeted sa pamamagitan ng multitudes of screaming fans, all so happy and excited to see the boys, and there was the usual chasing. Unlike their last stop in France, the American fans made the Beatles feel right at home.
Neil Aspinall and Mal Evans were along to handle the Beatles' instruments and drive their car respectively. As they passed Central Park, Mal said, "Why don't you boys go and have fun for a bit? We can check...

If George hadn't smoked I truly believe he would be alive, today. His life was cut way too short and I cry when I think of all the things he could've done. Like the first tribute I did with John Lennon this is the same thing for George Harrison (Thanks to a suggestion sa pamamagitan ng 80'smusiclover1, thanks, dear!)

Michael Nesmith, the singer-songwriter, author, actor-director and entrepreneur who will likely be best remembered as the wool-hatted, guitar-strumming member of the made-for-television rock band The Monkees, has died of puso failure at 78.

Nesmith was a struggling singer-songwriter in September 1966 when “The Monkees” telebisyon debut turned him and fellow band members Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork and David Jones into overnight rock stars.

Dolenz, the last surviving member of the band who completed a farewell tour with Nesmith last month, sinabi on Instagram that he'd Nawawala a dear friend and partner.

“I’m so grateful that we could spend the last couple of months together doing what we loved best – singing, laughing, and doing shtick," Dolenz said. "I’ll miss it all so much. Especially the shtick.”

Paul - You knew that today was the day. The araw the pag-ibig of your life would be leaving for a long time to our the US and you honestly felt like your world had crashed around you. You roll over and face Paul’s angelic features as he stirred in his sleep, you sighed wanting to stay in this perfect bubble forever. It was hard sharing your dreamboat boyfriend with the whole world, but you realised he was doing what he loved. He awoke and revealed his big, beautiful brown orbs and whispered “I’m going to miss you so much, love” Paul kissed you and you held him for as long as you could before...

As soon as Hazel exchanged another message with John finding out where exactly he was, she messaged her mga kaibigan in a group chat. I won’t let anything happen to John, she vowed. I’m protecting him whether he likes it or not! She sent her mga kaibigan a message saying: “Hi, guys, we’ve got a job to do. John Lennon is in danger, and we’re going to shield him.”
Within minutes, she received ang sumagot back saying things like, “Johnny’s in danger??” “What kind of danger, Hazel?” “What are we doing about it?” “You can count on us!” as well as a number of worried face emojis.

The Internet was first invented in 1943, and sa pamamagitan ng the late fifties, it was in common use, as people discovered madami and madami uses for it. One of its many uses that made it so popular was for bands to share and promote their music.
The Beatles, of course, were one of the biggest Internet presences around. On every site they joined, they had madami likes, comments, and followers than they knew what to do with. Their inboxes were flooded with fanmail. Their bidyo were viewed and their tracks downloaded millions of times per day. The Beatles loved their fans and would respond to as much of the fan...

Paul walked me back to the hostel, but there was an awkward silence between us now. I knew Paul was thinking I had freaked out on him for no reason, and probably thought I was crazy. And I was just too horrified to speak. How could I have prevented my favourite band of all time from ever getting together?!
I couldn’t sleep that night. I lay awake for hours, tossing and turning, thinking about what I had done. What sort of world would I be going back to at the end of the week, if the Beatles had never existed? How dull and lifeless would everything be? I didn’t want to think about it. I wanted...

The susunod morning, John and Paul were having breakfast. After they finished, they heard a knock on the door. John asked, "Who could that be at this hour?" Paul replied, "It might be George or Ringo." The knocking continued. Paul said, "Don't worry; I'll get it." He went to answer the door. Standing before him were some young people, probably in their late teens or early twenties. He figured they must be fans. He asked, "May I help you?" A girl spoke up and said, "I'm Hazel, and these are my friends, Candice and Jeremy. I have some madami of my mga kaibigan coming soon. Evanna and some others are in...

Once Paul's mind was made up, he decided to get started right away. He packed some of his things in a backpack, a few changes of clothes and his pocket money, but also a lot of records and other musical items. His gitara was put into its case and set lovingly sa pamamagitan ng the door where it would be ready to go as soon as he needed it.
Dinner was very quiet, partly because Paul and Jim had just argued, but mostly because Paul didn't want to accidentally let slip anything about his plans and make his dad suspicious. After hapunan he excused himself quickly and slipped away upstairs.
Paul waited until he heard...

The small army of Beatles fans formed a strong double line in front of Paul’s front door, blocking the entrance and shielding the Beatles within. Hazel, of course, was front and centre, with Jeremy on one side of her and Candice on the other. Hazel’s puso pounded in her chest. Now the moment had come, she was filled with a sudden fear, but she was determined not to let it show.
“Go away!” she said, her voice strong and commanding, and hardly shaking at all. “We won’t let you get John. You’ll have to get past all of us first, and then...” But here she stopped, knowing that if...

This is what I think would've happened if John Lennon had lived. I was inspired to write this after seeing an aged litrato of what John Lennon might have looked like if he had lived.
So this is basically fake headlines of what I think could've been of a promising life gone far too soon and taken tragically.

What should have been:

This just in! John Lennon announces he has joined social media! Spreads message of peace and hope to millions!

John Lennon's new album goes digital! Already hits # 1 on Billboard!

John and Yoko Ono Lennon celebrate wedding anniversary! Reveals secret to long and happy marriage!...

I can’t really explain what it feels like to be sucked into the past. It’s not an unpleasant feeling, but it sure is a strange one, sort of like being tugged backwards and then feeling like you’re nowhere for a few minutes, almost like you’re reloading yourself. That’s the best way I can describe it. Eventually they say they’ll perfect time travel so that it’ll be instantaneous and you won’t feel a thing, but for now, this is what we’ve got.
At last I felt my feet touching the ground, and I looked up to find myself in a small alleyway between two brick walls, without any people...

"I've told you, there's been no sign of either of them," the officer on duty said. "I'm not sure how much longer we'll be able to handle this case anyway. No, it's true -" as Mr McCartney opened his mouth to argue - "we've checked the area pretty thoroughly and put up posters all over the place....

Hello, Beatlefellows! Peaceandlove67 here, and I'm going to name my paborito Beatles songs and why. I'd like to give a shout out to ChiliPepperLuv for inspiring this idea. This excludes cover songs. They have to be exclusively sa pamamagitan ng the Beatles.

1. "Helter Skelter"
The reason this song is my paborito is that I pag-ibig the pangkalahatang sound of the song. I pag-ibig the gitara riff, the drum beat, and the vocals. I also pag-ibig the ending. "I've got blisters on my fingers!"

2. "It's Only Love"
I really like this song, because it's sweet, simple, and overall, it's a beautiful song. "It's only love, and that is all."...

-What To Live By-
Four young gents from Liverpool once told me, "The pag-ibig You Make Is Equal To The pag-ibig You Take." And in retrospect, they couldn't be any madami right. Many people try to live sa pamamagitan ng one philosophy, like "Give and you shall receive," or "There are no foolish questions, only foolish people." Bt, in reality, this is not a soap box artikulo about philosophies to live by, but how one rock group changed my life forever.

-The Early Stages-
Rock music has never been a stranger to me, since I have experienced it since my dad first blasted Springsteen on my way tahanan from the hospital. I can sing...
