I recently 2 months nakaraan got my friend who i knew for like 6 years or so into Anime. But it's annoying me that there is still a lot of Anime my friend claims is depressing and dark themed that he will not watch at all. What should i do?????

I knoa i can't force anyone into liking lot's of stuff that i like. But my friend Hunter Bracy wants me to like a lot of Marvel and DC stuff like he does. And i like some of that stuff but I'm madami into Anime.

And my friend likes a lot of Marvel and DC shows and reality looking TV shows and pelikula with actors in them. And he is starting to like some Anime. But when it comes to Soul Eater,K Project,Madoka Magica and Fullmetal Alchemist and some other Anime he only picks out the bad in the shows before he gets that far into the first 3 episodes. And he is already saying that there depressing and not funny at all. Even though me and many people like them Animes.

And my friend Hunter Bracy started watching Soul Eater when i was at his house watching the 2nd to last episode of Soul Eater on Adult Swim Toonami. And based on one episode he calls Soul Eater a dark and depressing very bloody Anime to watch and he won't watch it. He claims he don't like dark themed shows and movies. Yet he can watch Batman when it is Dark themed and has some bloody in it. And can be depressing at times. It annoys me the way my friend Hunter Bracy thinks of a lot of Anime shows. I was able to get him into Persona 4,Persona 3 Anime and Sword Art Online. And his sister got him into My Little Monster and i think the other Anime was called Kotaru-San he likes them cause there funny. And some of them have sword action in the Anime. But here latly i have not been able to get My friend into any Anime i ipakita him at his house without him complaining about it and picking the negetive in the Anime. Last taon December 2015 is when i was able to get him into Sword Art Online and than October i got him into both Persona 3 and Persona 4 Anime. But now i can't get him into any Anime without him complaining about it. He will play Persona 4 and Sword Art Online Video Games when i let him play my games sometimes. But he calls Kingdom Hearts a childe game and will not give it a chance. He says who would play a baby gale like this? I sinabi my dad does he got me into Kingdom Hearts 8 years nakaraan even though my dad don't like much Anime only some and he sinabi oh and tried getting out of trying my Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 and 2.5 remix collection games on PS3. It is annoying me what should i do? He thinks i should like all Marvel and DC not just some of it. And he gets mad when i like some Marvel and DC but not all of it. But he tellsnme off when i treat him that way about Anime shows. What should i do??????? I know i can't force anyone into liking anything though. But it just annoys me sometimes.

And my friend Hunter Bracy wants to go to Con Nichiwa Con Convention Center at the Tucson Convention center with me and some mga kaibigan from Church College group and mga kaibigan i knew in high school. But he is not big into a lot of Anime like other people are. He still likes Marvel and DC and reality actors shows madami but he is into the few Anime i listed above. This is gonna be his first Anime Convention that i am inviting him to this March 18th,19th and 20th. He never been ro a convention Center before aside from easter service at a convention Center from Church.
