Mirandel I really don't know how to feel anymore. I definitely agree with Sarah, that how can they go from the “Everything I cherished between us, everything we had, it’s gone. That'll never change." to "I just don't ever want to lose you" and to marriage! Ok, maybe we shouldn't judge before we've seen the finale. Because the teasers are meant to be a bit misleading. But I think Nanna is right. Arthur says the cold words while he's down and totally lost his self-confidence. He'll be apologizing later. He's having hard times as a King. Morgana and Agravaine are the ones to blame. I took a look at the Sandi's comments. I hope we're going to find a way to enjoy the episode, even though it's going to be a bumpy one. But remember that Arwen will always remain the most epic fiction couple in history! It's canon and it'll stay canon! They will be happy again! Happy Holidays everyone!! Try to enjoy the Christmas(everyone who's celebrating it) and the episode!! If it's the same bit I read before they took it down again, I found it a very dull explanation for what happened in the episode. lailastar I think there will be a huge emotional scene between Arthur and Gwen where all will be discussed,expressing all the hurt and pain,and this is how they will move forward,realizing they cannot be without each other,it is the only way to render the enchantment unimportant and satisfy the fans. I think a lot of tears will be shed between those two tonight.

Bonne-Bell The enchantment needs to be revealed, if not in this episode then in S5. I want vindication for Gwen and for Lancelot who's memory is now tarnished because of what happened. I know some people here don't really care for him but the man died for Arthur and for Camelot, he deserves better than to be thought of as a traitor. While Gwen and Arthur will have a chance to rebuild their relationship and Gwen will likely get the chance to regain her honour, Lancelot is never going to get that chance unless the truth comes out.

leona21 Hi, Bonne-Bell,I agree with what you said about Lancelot. Remember though, Merlin and Giaus knew he wasn't the real Lancelot so maybe Merlin will inform Arthur of this just like he wanted to do but "good old" Giaus said not to. I really wonder about the advice Giaus gives to Merlin sometimes, geeeez! The recap said the enchantment wasn't revealed but maybe Lancelot's shade might be? I hope so.

Bonne-Bell Gaius annoys me so much sometimes. I'm almost positive that Merlin is never going to reveal what he knows about Lancelot to Arthur. He's told him so many lies before, usually after following Gaius' advice, and none of them has ever come out. Plus it wouldn't look good for the show to give vindication for Lancelot while withholding Gwen's vindication. It would place the blame solely on Gwen, which I also do not want, and be extremely misogynistic on the part of the showrunners.

Mirandel I know I said I want the whole enchantment to be revealed. But after rethinking the whole situation, and reading Sandi's replies, I've changed my mind. Yes, I still can't understand how they can survive such a killer-roller-coaster(i know that's not a word). But if love really conquers all, this is only going to show the power of their love. That love is the most powerful thing in the world. Meaning, that the power of magic will never win against love. Never. And I do find that very beautiful. But I'll make my final judgement after seeing the final episode. I believe in Sandi's words that the episode is going to be much better as it's been spoiled. I thought I was going to hate 4x09, but did I do that after seeing it? No, because they had the beautiful, happy and sad scene throughout the whole episode. Because Bradley and Angel's was so magnificient. But the biggest reason is that the whole episode just showed, how much Arthur & Gwen love each other! Arthur was just really angry (like anyone else would be in his place) by her actions. He had to do something!! Anyone else could have killed her in the first place. But Arthur gave her another chance. He still loved her with all his heart, like he said it himself. But he couldn't trust her anymore. Maybe the finale is to show that he can regain the trust? That their love and trust was truly never gone and it will never be as long as they fight for them. I hope that Merlin's words "All I know, my lord, is that no one would sacrifice more for Camelot or you than Gwen." made him realize that how much she's done for them and Camelot. That she would never truly betray him. Lancelot was the only exception. And it'll never happen again. I'm sure that the whole thing will be revealed in the series 5. Just imagine their reactions? Could be rage? Or they could just tease Morgana about the fact she never managed to pull them apart. Never entirely. Whihii, I think I'm going to enjoy tonight's episode after all. Let's hope the best! =D I'm with you, Bonne-Bell! I didn't like him that much, but with Merlin I loved him. Morgana did a horrible thing for not only Arthur & Gwen, but for Lancelot, as well. There are too many reasons to hate Morgana now.
